I'm having the same error. I'm new to CnC and have been trying to get it to work as well.

I thought it might have something to do with getting an IP banned for some reason but I don't think that's the cause

Hi guys - what country are you playing from?

Assuming you're not on Windows XP - please download http://grant.cnc-comm.com/tmp/clientdx.exe

1. Go to your game directory

2. Place this file and overwrite the existing into Resources/

3. Run CnCNetYRLauncher.exe

4. Let it run through it's options, and re-upload client.log from Client/ folder.

(If it prompts to update, don't press update). Let me know the results.

Hi Admin,

It's still not working.

I have : downloaded the clientdx.exe, replaced the existing in the resources folder, and have ran CnCNetYRLauncher.exe.

I have not been prompted to update and it's still the same screen

I was talking to one of the moderators on Discord and he told me it probably has something to do with my campus' connection. I've sent an email to IT to potentially open some ports. Hopefully I can hear back soon, but if you have any other alternatives or fixes, please let me know!

Can you try if the other cncnet client works for you?

Tiberian Sun: https://downloads.cncnet.org/TiberianSun_Online_Installer.exe

I know you probably don't want to play tiberian sun, but it's just a test to see if that client works

yeah... I think it's my school's internet. TS isn't connection either. It's been looping those error messages constantly

It's actually connecting, but then instantly drops the connection... that's weird

Don't think the ports are blocked, you wouldn't be able to connect then. But I don't know what else it could be

It definitely has to do with my school's internet. I connected using my phone's hotspot and everything became fine :/
