For now you can delete INI/Battle.ini to get it working, though there will be a fix for this issue in the next update too. I've just updated the client to .29 Still getting issues with the singleplayer, "Yuri's revenge has encounted an error...". Please upload except.txt for us to take a look. Also, what map does this happen on? You should find one in Cleint/ErrorLogs The client has updated to 0.33 I tried random maps and they all gave me this "Yuri's revenge has encountered an error...." problem. Dune patrol Blood Feud Face Down Cold War But I bet all other maps will crash too, would you like me to try a specific map? I attached 3 except.txt files Hello - thanks, all the exceptions are the same as everyone else, you're not alone on this issue. You can find a status update here: https://forums.cncnet.org/index.php?topic=6901.0

Hello, Try downloading: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=27598 Once installed, go to the CnCNet directory, into resources, and run clientxna.exe

Hello, Could you screenshot the error you are talking about please? Thanks!

Have you looked under the different game type. Only .maps will work, so make sure your custom maps are named .map and not .yrm

The log is attached. .NET 3.5 is installed (see attached file dotnet.png). I've got this pink "artifact" in the main menu (see attached file yr.png) - the exit button is also missing. I get the error regardless of choosing Skirmish or CnCNet, but after the error when I choose CnCNet, the app crashes and I get a .NET Framework unhandled exception (see attached file ue.png for details). As you can see in the details, it says that "game-dir"/INI/Default.ini couldn't be found, so I went to game dir and found out that, compared to the installation on my other machine, the 3 folders; INI, Map Renderer and Maps were missing. So I tried to copy the folders from the other machine and I got a little longer. In CnCNet I get to the lobby, but it's like the "artifact" from the menu is still there, now it's just black. When I choose skirmish I also get a bit longer, now I can choose map and all that, but when I want to start the game, I get another error - see attached file "error.png". After that, I tried to copy over gamemd-spawn.exe, but get a new error - see "yr_error.png". I have tried to install the game in a folder in My Documents - it's still the same. The 3 folders and gamemd-spawn.exe aren't created there either. Could you try the latest update and report back

Hello, We're looking into this for you and should have an answer back shortly. In the meantime you can track the issue: https://github.com/CnCNet/xna-cncnet-client/issues/4 -- Update Vista needs Service Pack 2 and Platform Update for DirectX11, which the client depends on.

Hello Elite, Could you please upload a file called except.txt from your game directory and attach it back here. Thanks

Hi - Ah that's an old log. Look in a folder called Client, should be in your game directory where CnCNet is installed. client.log should be in there.

Is your renderer setting being saved? If you set it to dxwnd and close the client, does it remain?
