Could you upload client.log
-
Good idea, perhaps the hotkeys could be displayed in the map (almost mission style like). We could also do a map based on tank control aswell.
-
Hey - this is probably the best way of getting it transferred. Has it not transferred to you? Otherwise I'm sure someone will upload it for you

We're keen to get mac support back, so I'll log an issue for now. Could you upload client.log for me, this should still get generated in your directory where CnCNet is. It's in a folder called Client/ https://github.com/CnCNet/xna-cncnet-client/issues/26

When this next happens could you upload client.log Thanks

Try reinstalling with http://downloads.cncnet.org/CnCNet5_YR_Installer_r1.exe

Try this: http://downloads.cncnet.org/CnCNet5_YR_Installer_r1.exe

The site installers won't often stay in sync with the updates, only on major versions or if there's a bug blocking an install. The client will check for the latest update, and you can see the client version at the bottom right of the menu.

C&C Commanders old and new, We are proud to announce the release of our newest CnCNet Yuri's Revenge Online client. Who do we have to thank for all of this? The Dawn of the Tiberium Age team and all of their contributors of the project, specifically Rampastring for creating this client for everyone and spending countless hours developing it in his spare time. Theme credit: For the design of the new Yuri's Revenge theme, we owe a big thanks to Tomson26 Other credits include: All of the CnCNet Team for their support on go-live. Including dkeeton, Tomson26 and Iran. All of our testers that partipated in the early versions but a big thanks to Ra2Nub Previews:

Hello - thanks for posting this. I'll log this as an issue for discussion: https://github.com/CnCNet/xna-cncnet-client/issues/25

They were displayed normally, but loading them was very slow. As you said.. And that should be fixed in the latest client. Will be in 3.0.42 (waiting on the check for AssetLoader)

Those archives look like the downloaded maps you get when you join a custom game, but they're not actually unzipping. Try renaming Maps/Custom folder to Maps/Custom1, does the client take as long to boot up then? BTW we are looking into map loadup times.
-
Hello, Well that's a first. Have you tried using the latest installer:(Should be 26mb or so) https://downloads.cncnet.org/CnCNet5_YR_Installer.exe

Not sure if this has been done before, but we could think of training maps to teach newcomers. E.g A map to train your hotkey skills. Scenario example You must build your base from scratch to tank production within say 15 seconds. (Just an example) - To achieve that time, they must have been using hotkeys. - A suitable build order (e.g not power, ref, ref)... We could I guess, also introduce this as part of the client introduction. So we could popup, Initiate online battle training. It takes them through these maps, a bit like missions do. On top of that, you could show a badge or some player details or w/e that they have completed basic training... What are you thoughts?
-
Yeah that would be perfect, timer just needs to last for 20 seconds and the game ends. Anything lag intensive like flying disks and/or prism tanks floating and firing if possible.
-
Do you have a Maps directory where CnCNet is installed? If so, what's in it? Does it also contain a folder called Yuri's Revenge, and do you see a list of maps? When you create a game, what maps do you see in the list?
-
Try the latest installer:https://downloads.cncnet.org/CnCNet5_YR_Installer.exe It should be roughly 26.2mb in size
-
Hello - please upload client.log, found in your Client directory. You should find this folder where CnCNet is installed. Thanks
-
Could you try a simliar setup but with Win7 and see if the same happens? XP might be a bit weird to support on a mac.
-
let him fix thé crashes first then he go for the small fixes Any crashes you get guys, make sure to upload to the forum. There should be less crashes now in the latest build. But yeah we'll get to these smaller features when everythings settled

Hi, I'm after the following in this map: Requirements: [*]Any type of units moving about, be it tanks, infantry or both. Preferably a lot going on [*]The map will end in 20 seconds Optional but would be cool: Text saying Render test will end in X seconds The end goal is to use this in the client options page, where you will be able to use this map as a Render test. Any help appreciated, Thanks guys!
