Could you upload client.log when you've tried the latest version - this should be caught in a try/catch now and see what exactly it's erroring on.

Thanks, I've yet to discuss with Rampastring on the best way of handling this. For now please avoid using Random and YR as factions.

This is not a client problem but likely a connection issue between you and other players. Have you tried allowing gamemd-spawn.exe through your firewall? What's your ping when you join games? If it's -1 that could be a problematic game.

Just to make things confusing, there is the Yuri's Revenge 3.0 client. So you need to be specific about what version of something you are talking about. If Yuri's Revenge, just overwrite the contents from MO mod into the same directory, it should work. Thanks

Thanks the log file indicateds the Custom maps directory does not exist. You can create it inside the Maps folder, or re-run the below installer to be double safe. You're one of the unlucky bunch that had a bad installer. Even r1 was bad. My apologies. Please try the latest - http://downloads.cncnet.org/CnCNet5_YR_Installer_r3.exe
