Issue logged - https://github.com/CnCNet/xna-cncnet-client/issues/21 Tried non-ra2 mode? There will be a new update available tonight that will resolve this. In the meantime, you can delete this file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Red Alert 2\EXCEPT.TXT'

The log shows it, how many custom maps do you have in your custom maps folder? I need to add more debugging to the map renderer, it could be it's failing on a custom map somewhere.

We're actually not sure what could be causing this. The log looks fine. Are your video drivers up-to-date?

Map rendering will take a while to render every map, give it some time, check for instance - the first map in the list and that should have rendered. If not, please upload client.log

It helps if you don't make duplicate topics. It's harder to track. https://forums.cncnet.org/index.php?topic=6947.0

Great! Thanks for this, very useful -
Didn't actually answer my question? If you look at options, what does the renderer say?

Red Alert 2 doesn't allow me to change its settings

Try renaming ddraw.dll to ts-ddraw.dll and placing back in Resources. I don't understand and nor does Rampastring, you will need to google some solutions on why this is happening. -
Issue logged, have you tried what it says in the dialog? Have you tried updating your video drivers? https://github.com/CnCNet/xna-cncnet-client/issues/16

Can you try downloading https://downloads.cncnet.org/CnCNet5_YR_Installer.exe and re-running it into your directory, if the same problem persists, report back
