  1. You should be fine with windows 7 if you have it already, or 8. 10 we haven't heard any reports yet Games are good, theres lots of TOE games flying around, even 4v4 TOE maps.
  2. Hey - brill - if you could message me an email, we'll send instructions out to test a new update when its ready
  3. I went to the channel and I didn't find anyone I pm you check your mails as I want to be tester Hey I got your PM, thanks for that!
  4. IMO it seems - more games are required to beat the top rank - less people sitting are liable to staying on rank 1 with 40 wins to 2 losses for the entire month and "bailing"
  5. In your game directory, what does Resources/Binaries folder show?
  6. Guys could you upload your cncnetclient.log files from within your game directory after the errors occur (make sure to click OK)?
  7. This could be a good example, or it could be RA2's, TS might be different. http://xwis.net/forums/index.php/topic/79158-mpstatstxt-how-2-read-who-lags/
  8. We wouldn't want IP's to be shown to anyone anyway its a privacy breach, so mpstats wouldn't be the way forward.
  9. I understand, but we'd then be promoting XWIS gameplay videos and not CnCNet ones, and that's false advertising, especially since RA2 support isn't even on CnCNet yet, only through the YR Client as a mode.
  10. Looks cool. Bear in mind if you submit videos to CnCNet, they have to be played on CnCNet...
  11. As a temporary update, you can try adding https://www.dropbox.com/s/x10hvfosgn0k0mp/ddraw.dll?dl=0 to your game directory and toggling videobackbuffer in the client settings as a test to see which it is you need.
  12. Did anyone encounter out of sync sound issues? Anyway to resolve? I followed that video - really good didn't lag.
  13. Hey there, have you toggled videobackbuffer in the client settings? What ini file did you change?
  14. Very cool, got some nice Westwood'y elements in there. How about a CnCNet soundtrack, maybe based on hell march? (Just my preference )
  15. (I think) you guys have missed my point of why. If a cheat no-longer works because we've blocked it, there is no more action required. If it does, so be it, we'll block it so it doesn't happen again and repeat if a new version appears. Punishing a player for using cheats is what caused (amongst various additional rule creep) destroyed the playerbase on the replacement servers for WOL. If they had proactively blocked the cheats, they would not have had to ban someone from playing. The label cheater is now so serious for a game that is so old - banning someone for something we can actively prevent is silly. The games are too fragile to implement old style banning methods.
  16. PM funkyfr3sh where you stand. Closing this in the meantime as its past its purpose. Thanks
  17. Note the below is just my own opinion and not of CnCNet. I want to start some points on this because I've seen quite a few concerns and assumptions. We're fast approaching our first release for a leaderboard, and its safe to say there are still some unknowns with how losses/disconnecting or cheating will be handled within the community. So I wanted to express some of my views... -- Banning players for cheating, it's wrong and should never have started on the first alternative servers Coming from a background where banning players for cheating was the 'right thing to do', I believe it was now totally the wrong approach and should never have started. Players should not be to blame if they have cheated, or abused the system to achieve a good rank. If a player is banned because he has cheated, or disconnected then that is wrong. Why? It is up to the service supporting the game to prevent a cheat from working in the first place. If a cheat does not work, 9 times out of 10 the player will just give up and either play the game as it was meant to be played, or not bother with it again. If we also assume a player disconnected the game on purpose to avoid a loss on their profile, and base that evidence on a bunch of game units leftover in stats, what's to say that wasn't an accident or a complete coincidence with a powercut, and whats to say he/she wasn't winning the game anyway? The same for a reconnection error, it can be caused intentionally or it can be associated with something entirely different too so why do we look at this as a cheat. If a player disconnects, so be it. You get that on FIFA all the time, if it happens again, avoid the player. If a player cheats, report the cheat not the player, we'll block it.
  18. Hello - welcome! Is the gameplay slow? What happens exactly when it crashes, any errors? Which operating system?

    Record games on Mac

Best software? Any ideas? Quicktime is good but lags YR...
  20. That's a waste. The "physical" box of TUC only has an Origin download code. Ah yes I thought it was a digital code, its sent via mail which sucks.
  21. Strangely theres this version too at $14.99... http://www.amazon.com/Command-Conquer-Ultimate-Collection-Pc/dp/B0095C0I4W/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1437135318&sr=8-2&keywords=command+and+conquer+ultimate+collection
  22. Hey welcome! It might be a good feature to have, but when there/if there is clan support within clients and the leaderboard. Unless there's a huge demand for a clan section...
  23. Mainly, client updates inline with DTA's client. Soon after: fixed YR game modes.
