Hello - does expandmd02.mix exist in your game directory? Are you running Yuri's Revenge else where? Check your process list for gamemd.exe

When you make a game theres a checkbox which enables it below unit count etc

Can you upload to mediafire or something?

Thanks for reporting, we're looking into the issue. In the meantime, you can set unit count to 0 and it should work.

but it is necessary for non cncnet plays, so why not just rename/move and then restore it? We'll work on a solution to such in a future update, but currently there were too many players complaining of errors caused by wsock32.dll so we've had to remove.

That should be fixed and you should be able to play custom maps again

Update - Custom maps that weren't working this morning have been fixed.

Pressed the download button down there, but all I got is a YR installer. Weird. Hi - the RA2 classic mode within the client was temporarily removed with a release of a major client update. It will be back soon, hopefully this weekend.

Soon - just needs to be tested internally at the weekend

Nothing gets changed to the gameplay such as balance, and nothing ever will on that front. It will remain as pure 1.006. Any updates are purely client enhancements, or bug fixes to the game, which are mainly private because most are cheat prevention.
