  1. Welcome - if the installer cannot find the game, you can select Browse and point it to the game directory manually. I believe Origin installs Red Alert 2 & Yuri's Revenge at roughly this path: "Program files > Origin Games > Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge"
  2. Yes I gathered that. Comments on posts on any Facebook page more or less are people saying the game doesn't work for win 7, 8, 10 etc. They could also mean its not working online but mostly, they have the game but they can't start it, that's what I assume. I assume "it dont work on win8" is they have nothing working, the games as good as dead. Good, now multiply one liner comments like that by 100 times a week per page, excluding direct messages and boosted posts and tell me a better way (as we stand right now) without: Giving them nothing at all Replying in depth to each comment and remembering to reply back Linking them to a support forum It's simple and more beneficial to link someone to a potentially all in one solution that applies ts-ddraw, compat fixes, and removes a bunch of conflicting files that could address any number of their problems than give them completely nothing at all. Sure if you have time to help everyone that leaves a comment and you're paid to reply in depth fine, the point is no-ones paid and neither has the time. Mostly theres a like or comment saying thanks, its worked. The others might not reply, or theres some other problem/is not what they were after (Too bad - we're not physic and can't predict what they mean by one liners). The other point to replying to comments like that is awareness of some sort of support for C&C classics, there's been very little awareness of online for YR up until now. I'm pleased its back in a positive number, you should be too. Posts on the Facebook pages are not all me - believe that or not, so feel free to direct message the page and complain. I've re-iterated this many times elsewhere that I am not the admin of that RA2 page despite being one of two that first made it. Somewhere, somehow I got demoted. Regarding Marsh's comments I'm actually baffled by. There's been no official statements declaring CnCNet as an official server ever, period. If there has, take it up with the people you saw it said by because it wasn't any us, and its never been said anywhere across our site, social media channels etc. Furthermore Wolf, if you still have beef with me add me on skype so we can talk it out instead of slinging mud up the walls.

    Hello, Whitescreen I believe is caused by TS-DDRAW when you're don't require it. Glad you resolved it!

  7. Hey there Sorry to hear about this. Please could you all check that you do not have wsock32.dll in your game directory? If so remove, and re-test. If the screen is black, be sure to enable ts-ddraw in the client options.

  11. Its happen when i finishing my game and after I returned into the lobby, the client crashed and I cannot run it anymore until now. Do you have CnCNetYRLauncher.exe in your game directory?

But still, it didn't work either. I really want to play with my friends. For now I can just battling those stupid AI alone. Did you check for updates at the bottom left when using the cncnet launcher?

  16. Hey, In the game lobby? It may be that the maps are being generated in the background so might be a few minutes until it catches up. If it hasn't done so in 5/10 minutes let us know, and we'll give you further instructions
  17. Hi Tony, OK, could you go into your game directory and do the following: Find a file called spawner.xdp and remove Find the directory INI and remove Then restart the client, and try again
  18. Ask him to try a different nickname as a test - it could be that he's already signed in and the server hasn't removed him.

  23. Hey - sorry to hear you're having trouble. Just to add to Rampastrings post, if you're playing with friends on the same connection that might also be why you're having trouble playing. We've fixed this in an update, we're hoping to release very very soon.
  24. Hey there - first welcome and sorry to see you're having problems. That would be our out of date info on the site, that .exe does not apply for Yuri's Revenge. The link you need is here http://cncnet.org/yuris-revenge Download the installer, and run once downloaded. It should find your origin install directory automatically, and you're away and playing online!
