A serial is needed to install Ha yeah, as in a legit serial to play online, you need a real one for xwis play for example.

I know you love the word FREE, but this implies there's no need to buy / own the game. It is a tricky one and the wording does need slightly adjusting IMO. Technically they need the game but not a serial which is why its 'free' to play online.

The game was never included in the download, but the installer will look for an existing installation. AFAIK recent updates make sure have the game installed before continuing the install.

I think the problem might be that the game creation lobby hides the main lobby chat (as it appears directly in-front).

I used to play a lot of ra2 but I've never played yuris revenge. However if you still think it's worth me testing it I'm definitely interested! Sure thing, I'll send over a link for you. That's nice to hear. Tunnelling will be used for RA2 too yes.

I don't see a problem with an option, certainly stops those annoying 'No yuri plz' moments that last forever. Would this appear in the game info in the lobby? I did originally, but the others have made quite good points regarding the disadvantages. Probably not no, no-one has that patch (that I know of) or has played it in a long while. Quickmatch and ladder will bring a whole different type of playerbase and probably more players. However, there has to be some thought into how we preserve friendly games, lobbies, protect the newer players, and still bring a good competitive scene. Not really - wouldn't see the point in the work - there would be something thats not quite right so might aswell support RA2 separately. Anonymous spots could be a cool game option, for what game modes though? Pointless if you're picking the spots in the pre-game lobby.
