I'm confused now. Did the mission I uploaded in the Red Dawn thread fix the CS mission for your Red Dawn?

Your infs are small than in the pic I posted in your Red Alert? Take a pic of them if you could. You should be able to hit the Print Screen key and paste it in any paint program with redalert1.com RA. As for Red Dawn. It sounds like it is the same bug you had with Red Dawn CS mission. I'll do what I did for you with the CS mission and give you all of missions in .INI fourm. Download All Red Dawn Missions.zip below and copy or all the files into the Red Dawn folder C:\WESTWOOD\RedDawn. If it says this file is there. Replace it. All_Red_Dawn_Missions.zip

Red Dawn use small like Tib Dawn did. Are your guys small as Red Dawns? I'm attaching a pic of what your inf should look like in RA1. Also do not put Red Dawn in the same folder as Red Alert or Red Alert in the same folder as Red Dawn. Nyerguds3.03 patch patch is old now. All the fixes made into were done in the redalert1.com RA. Using it with the RA from redalert1.com would mess things up badly if you could get it installed. I use Nyerguds install progam to build the one used for Red Dawn. Also did I get your Red Dawn CS mission working?

I just downloaded it. The inf are larger than the Allied jeep. If your are smaller than that. You some how added files from some other Red Alert.

RA1 shouldn't have small infantries unless your running DOS RA1...

If this fixed things than take a look at Red Dawn compatibility modes and do the same to your Red Alert. Also on the Red Dawn page I put mission like I did on this page that may fix Red Dawn's CS mission for you hopefully. -

loveu8 had somthing like this but not as bad. http://cnc-comm.com/community/index.php?topic=1735.msg8636 I ended up uploading the mission so it could be placed into the game folder and it fix it for him. Download the All Red Alert Missions.zip attached below. Copy or Move all 80 files to were you have Red Alert installed/ (the same folder as ra95.exe is in) This may fix it. It did for loveu8. I think there is somthing about your Win 7 and RA1. I could upload a zip that has all of the CS missions out of a mix file. You would have to put them into the Red Dawn folder. Download the Red Dawn 2012 CS Missions.zip attached below. Copy or Move all 26 files to C:\WESTWOOD\RedDawn This may fix it. I'm not sure... Red_Dawn_2012_CS_Missions.zip

Your using the current version as the links on the first page has? Do you have the Optional Movies and/or Covert Ops Music installed? Is the Main Campaign Missions (Allied and Soviet) and Aftermath working? You can also check compatibility tab. When you open it you should see that a few things are checked and it is in Windows 95.

For one or all? It is not to do that. After the briefing you should start the mission like normal.

Compatibility mode for Win Vista and Win 7 is done when you install. You should not need to set compatibility mode.

It sound like were ever yout got your copy or RA1 at only has the first mission for the allied and soviet campaign. I would go over to redalert1.com and download that one. It has all of the campaign for the allied and soviet but I don't think is has AF or CS mission. -
Did I get all the tracks? I know some tracks were unused in Windows 95 mode but were used in DOS mode.

First I wish you luck! I thought about doing a WWII mod but it didn't get past some planning with paper. If you plan to use the Skirmish mode AI you will find out quick that you can't really mess with the buildings build order or the Ai will quit working. After look over what you have laid out this is what I would do. This way you could keep the AI working as well. I would replace the Flame Tower .shps with the TD’s Guard Tower. Feel free to take it from Red Dawn or any thing else of use as well. Now you can give the [FTUR] to the Allies and [PBOX] and [HBOX] to the soviets. The AI will work fine. Next you can just put -1 on the Tesla Coil and remove the Owner= tag. The AI will build Gun Turrets just fine for both sides if this is done and the Gun Turret is coded for both sides. With the SAM Sites maybe you can do some converting of the RA2 soviet flak gun since it looks just like the German 88mm. The Gap Generator can be built by both sides fine by the AI if it is coded for both sides. I turned the Gap Generator into a Radar Jammer for both sides in Red Dawn. The Airfield can be give to both sides just fine. The Yak and MiG as well. Now for Aircrafts I would use a split Icon like by Nyerguds did for C&C Meets Star Wars. (Attached below) You could do a split icon that is half Spitfire and BF109 this would use the [YAK] and split B-25 and Ju-88 icon that would use the [MIG]. Also maybe by messing with the a weapon you could make the helicopters act like the stock Yak. I would also use a split icon for the [APC]. You can make the Convoy Truck buildabe fine with the skirmish mode AI but it will be a pain the rear for any one converting the singer player mission to work with your mod. Anyway below tips. Never use Name= in the rules.ini. It causes the game to crash. The more Name= used the quicker it crashes. Get an Ingame String editor. With vehicles the AI dose well. You can switch or add an owner on any vehicles and the AI is fine but I don't recommend doing so for any unit that is given at the start of skirmish mode. If your mod is using 1.08 or later Red Alert you can program in the Ant units in the rules. Download Red Dawn if you’re not sure about them. The Ants are [ANT1] [ANT2] [ANT3] in the rules and use .shp with walking frames. If you need more info on Ants I will help you out. Infantry dose well as well. You can switch or add an owner on any Infantry and the AI is fine. The AI won’t build the Attack Dog, Engineer Spy, Medic, Field Marshal or any of the Civilians. Also making the Field Marshal or Civilians buildable is not a good idea. If they are loaded on to Transport Helicopter the game will try to fly them off the map. The AI will never build things like the Camouflaged Pill Box, Forward Command Post, Nuke Missile Silo, Ore Silo, Hospital Bio-Research Laboratory etc. Basically when it comes to building. If the AI don't build it now they will never will no mater what you do. Also not a good idea to put WaterBound=yes on any building that the AI can make. It will spam that one building over and over… Notify me of replies ON.

It took me a few hours but download and install this http://www.mediafire.com/?w8ne861tsadpll1 It will add 15 soundtracks from the 'Covert Operations'. You will now have a total of 35 tracks. I can add no more tracks to Red Dawn now.

Not compatable. It and Red Dawn uses different offsets with in the .exe.

UN-GDI=None Nod=None Nod Black Hand=More speed but more cost for it GDI Steel Talons=More Firepower but slower GDI ZOCOM=More Armor but less Speed but thanks to buggy coding by WestWood it has Less Armor but less Speed. I will fix GDI ZOCOM if I get CNC support of you can do it your self. open the rules.ini in the Red Dawn folder and change the GDI ZOCOM/[France] Armor=1.1 from to Armor=0.9.

To know if the wsock32.dll could be changed so Red Dawn could be ran on CNC Net with its own lobby. Must be somthing eles... I thought I was using a modded V3.03 but no I wasn't. I did a test run of Red Dawn on CNC Net using the expansion v3.03 from redalert.com (Before the megauploads take down) and got hit with a compat error if I tried to join a normal RA game.

I thought it worked someting like that. So I'm sure any one using the link above Aftermath and Counterstrike is geting compat errors un ess they know the person is using the same .exe What dll dose the sending and can it be changed?

So CNC Net know knows to send people to a lobby just by .exe name or CNC Net is geting upgraded for new protocols to tell it what game is trying to connect now....

I thought that too. I don't know if he will mod a .exe or change CnC Net. It dosen't matter how it gets done as long as long as its done.
