I have a working version right now working for CnC Net 4 and CnC Net 5. Right now I'm not sure if I want to throw the whole thing out for any one than fight a rash of bugs and balance problems that will likely show up or do closed testing with a small group of people that should find all of the bugs and balance problems before I put it out for everyone.

You need to look into editing RAED or see how much if the ingame editor WestWood used is still left and get it working and add your new triggers to it.
-
I tried to see what and how it worked but it kicked an error in RAED. Somthing about the trigger or teamtype it dosn't under stand. I did use the teamtype @PINF but can't tell it to attack waypoint 100 so the game is droping the @PINF teamtype at the AI base in skirmish mode.

Here is map that has Chono Tanks reinforce by spy on building at waypoint logic. CtnkMap.zip
-
I tested with the old 3.03P-I BETA2
-
The Chronoshift idea almost works as is. The Ants use it. and However this only wokrs for the 3 Ants and the WayPoint they start at in this case 0 must be the Ant hill tile or the team will be reinforced from one of the edges of the map.

Okay haven't see any thing like that in RA before with the paradrop....
-
I'm not sure. I didn't play the mission that far. If you or any one wants to rework any of the C&C95 mission they are in the SC-CNC-M.MIX

The need to change to the Iran patch became clear when I saw the nice config and laucher set up and once Iran added the Desert and Winter theaters I made the jump. The TD mission wasn't a convert but a remake since most of the coding of TD maps dosn't work in RA and what did (units, buildings and tress) had about half off of the map. It is close to TD but there is a few flaws right now. SSM Launcher, Recon Bike, Stealth tank, Chem Warrior and Chem Tank are have overpowered weapons. I forgot to Techlevel=-1 the MAD Tank for the TD missions.
-
Yes the type of units you start with is hard coded.
-
Can you sent me 15min of my life back since I had to play the same mission again do to some error that was saved with my save gamed didn't work?
-
Didn't work from my saved game but did work when I started new from the using the old Shift+Click on specker.
-
I can't move the RA95.exe you attached into the folder. It only keeps making a shortuct in the folder.
-
I'm using the PortableRA setup.exe from your web side I got 2 days ago to help ETPC with the rules.ini
-
I can confirm the error. Verison is 3.03P R214. My older 3.03P-I BATA2 is not effected by this error for this mission. I seen this one in the past with much older Iran patch for Allied 5B or Allied 5C and the exe wouldn't read the mission from any .mix file but would work if I put the mission in .ini fourm in the folder. HOWEVER this time placing the mission in the folder dosn't work. This type error kept me way from the Iran patch. I hope this error isn't in the 3.03P-I BATA2 for any missions as I didn't do a check....

As funky said. You likely messed up your TUC RA1 by putting PortableRA files into. Use the PortableRA Full like you have and install it in any place (C:\ is fine). The install program will install it to what ever place you have the PortableRA setup.exe. So if you run the PortableRA setup.exe from your desktop it will install by defalt to your desktop.
-
Have you tied Funkyfr3sh's set up? http://funkyfr3sh.cncnet.org/ It will let you run above stock res but I don't know if it can run at the rez you want.
-
'Unable to read scenario!' is normaly because the next mission isn't found or not loaded right. The Ant mission are in PortableRA full install.
-
The ddraw.ini file in the newer install setups don't set screen size. redalert.ini is now doing the screen size. You can open the redalert.ini with a basic text editing program and the redalert.ini should have Width= and Height= in the [Options] part of the file. Not a mac person so I could be all wrong as well.

Freedom of speech issues in gaming critique
Allen508 replied to MrFlibble's topic in General Discussion
Not the first time I've seen this. First in reguarding a game. The pressure made them cave too. -
It is a multiplayer effect only.
-
It dosn't seem to effect single player but Westwood may have used TechLevel=-1 on Tanya for any Soviet missions that reach the max tech level and TechLevel=-1 on the Missile Silo for any Allied missions that reach the max tech level. I would have to test and see if it dose to know for sure.
-
You can look into it. It also effets [E7] Tanya as well. If I give Missiles Silo or Tanya Prerequisite of any kind as long as it isn't the Soviet Tech Center or Allied Tech Center the prob goes away. In the case of Red Dawn the Allied Tech Center/Satelite Center it used a Prerequisite of Radar Dome/Comm Center and once built it would give me the Missiles Silo that still uses Prerequisite of Soviet Tech Center/Temple of Nod even if I was Allied/GDI.
-
It is only found on maps as the game is hard coded in skirmish mode and multiplayer to give the Nuke Missiles Silo to any player when they build a Soviet Tech Center or Allied Tech Center no matter what Prerequisite or Owner you give the Nuke Missiles Silo.
