You can try to install it manually, not sure which version it would need. the new one might be backwards compatible, or you might need an older version. if you install it yourself you might still get the download error, but it would be there if you can get the install to finish....... I would start with 3.5....if I were trying......that would be my first guess..... 'old one' is the one you are trying to patch, cncn-comm.com 'new one' is the cncnet client. https://cncnet.org/tiberian-sun installer/client different but it is the same delicious game both of them, new packaging..lol Think of it as the new digital download of the same game...... I have been playing since the 2nd week it has come out I don't use my original westwood cd's or the cncn-comm.com version... I use the cncnet installer now the cncnet one works without any of the trouble you are going through.........

That link is for the full game installer, not a patch It is the full game, same as the Westwood one, is fully self contained, automatically patches itself when needed, and works on current operating systems. includes the campaigns Automatically takes you into the online lobby where you can play. It is the same game. Why patch the old one and deal with all the hassle and glitches?

did he buy you the time and keep the pressure off taking heat??? often it the one that gets attacked the least and has the diz or the bans that does the most damage it's usually a team game.... I very often just get beat on but I try to keep 'em busy enough my teammates can do them in. That score does not reflect that at all....

It is nice to know how you did relative to the others, but if one teammate takes the heat while his mates do in the other team that is not reflected well in the final score either... say one guy holds off the others with inf getting a ton of kills and losses, while one techs and uses a diz to do all the other teams refs, who did better? I just don't get a 'wash' for the same reason. Go team!! Like chess, you can play for points for pieces.., but in the end what matters, is who gets the other King.

the resolution of your monitor exceeds the resolution(map size) of the map each map is different. the map name will tell you something x something. you just need to reduce your resolution until they all fit......if you playing quick match and can't adjust before it starts I keep a log of which resolution for which map..... or you might try playing it windowed instead of full screen.......in the client settings
