Blazer Not to undermine your point but(actually totally disagreeing)...ifvs are fast as hell, and when they get promoted, which they do relatively easily, they are the primary focus of the game. plus let's remember that you basically had no tanks until bf, like, all the games...so u kno...how can i build enough tanks to defend mid and bottom while building flak?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuELtryXtnM&feature=youtu.be the first of two games with this team
-
I'll upload the one where u guys lost. I guess you lost that recording?
-
To start, I guess i'll just start recording the racism. That'll help you to remember. Though I guess at this point all u all need to do is stop - which is what I want anyway. Apart from that, I've never called you garbage and never said you don't know the game, but yes I've definitely said I can beat you. Don't see how that is an insult and I don't see what that has to do with mx. Of course TC and BO are driving attributes to winning - as it was before. I just said be careful that you don't change that. An example is Tesla tanks which offensively dominate almost anything - tanks, buildings, infantry, and can shoot over walls - require no sort of planning or skill to use them. It's basically a supercharged version of the "unbalanced" rhino tank from ra2. Imagine u mix in a few dogs with ur tesla and the enemy mixes in dogs with rhinos. Ur tanks will kill like 3 dogs per shot while theirs struggle to deal damage. That's just one of the situations I envisioned as I thought about it last night. I can say in my opinion, as a whole mx has done a good job to balance some things. But using a unit and saying wow, this is easy...I don't think that was your aim in using mx. I've actually never thought that playing the original game, btw. And just because I didn't sit and test hmmm, is it the range, the damage, blah blah...that's for you to test and decide since ur the one that does the edits and you have a better understanding through experience how the edits can change a unit. But the first step is accepting that it's not perfect.
-
A number of the edits you make, I agree with, to an extent, but I want to add that you have to be receptive to criticism. Prime example is you today. You saw 3 apoc and 7 red smoking rhinos(from gi on cliff) lose to 9 tank destroyers, a bf, and 2 prisms in a tight space. You tried to "prove a point" to me previously saying that apoc attacking on move is op by pointing out that i lost that clearly unwinnable fight. You also pick favorites. You only listen to the above mentioned players in your "thank yous" when it comes to editing what you have. I can only guess that according to you, they're the ones with the best knowledge of the game. But it's ok, you're a human being, and everyone has faults and pride. But I'm hoping in the future you can learn to respect the criticism of other players, rather than in my case intensifying and increasing the frequency of your racist comments along with Kinkys3x and Korc, just because I don't agree with you. Now, keep in mind a unit being "op" is not normally a problem in this game, of course depending on the map and the selection of countries. Because if my opponent decides to spam the op apoc or tesla tanks, then so can i (or the unit that counters that). That's the exact same story for the original game, and the exact same response you had when people today said telsa tanks were op - "grizzly rapes them". There is an answer to everything, even though one might take more skill than another. Be careful that "balancing" the game doesn't diminish the need for certain trademark skills (e.g. tc, bo) to come out on top. No matter the mode, you have to be either faster, smarter or more knowledgeable, luckier, or all of the above to win. Playing mx is fun sometimes because it feels like a different game. But in the end you should be more objective about the game you're pushing so hard to create. I do respect the move you're trying to make, but really there is not that much wrong with the game other than its rushed addition of yuri. It's why, throughout its history, players have been able to compete at the highest level using any faction - though some easier than others.

I will watch the video to help explain to you JSDS why you're the most ignorant player I've ever come across. But even without watching the video, under the circumstances presented in these comments, and using previous knowledge of marko being #1 and u being #145/170, I think anyone with a brain can see your blatant ignorance. Why don't you take what people say and use it to better yourself? Why do you instead decide to defend yourself when you're clearly wrong?
-
Yes JSDS. Your word is law
-
JSDS u have the king giving u advice on how to improve your game, yet you blatantly don't take the advice. Damn I wish he would watch my videos and tell me how I could improve. But, this is why people never improve. And before you say "I play for fun" like most people lie and say, remember that this is a game about winning and losing. And winning is the fun part.
-
actually no jsds. i want heck corners specifically. but in general, if a host selects any different map, i cant get it. I'll upload log files next time Grant
-
I have not been able to get any maps transferred to me lately. It started after the last update I'm pretty sure
-
Little things that keep you from ever going broke can send u ahead. putting buildings or units on hold while others build is a good way to get some things down faster. Sure two players might have 6 miners, and one has 7 tanks while the other has 5. "same eco" but one is ahead. But it's likely because one player either built more units like dogs or a drone, or made more sentries, didn't control their miners, has further distance to ore from refinery, or just plain built slower. There is a lot that goes into how fast you can produce. Not just number of wars and number of miners. It's why some players can have 1 war and as many tanks as another with 3 wars. Like others have already said, if the guy with 3 wars is broke all the time, the extra wars are for nothing.
-
i think after the last two tournaments, the active players have pretty much been able to gauge each others skills when it comes down to serious games. For now, people only play this game for fun. However, if a ladder is implemented, we may see more competitive play happening again.
-
Heck Freezes Over. Shows the different skills of the game. Knowing how to build, where to attack, how to split, tank control, map control, miner control. Other maps u can get away with lacking in these, but not in heck.

Scalpem has been getting a lot stronger lately

We're talkin yuri's revenge. If it was ra2 i'd say matt for those who play at cncnet. So i'll go with justin or ico0. Not really any other players that are able to play any map allied like they can. Sure there are lots of good players who can play any country, but these two are probably the best with allied in yuri's revenge now
-
Agree wholeheartedly with the dune patrol/blood feud thing. Other than those two I don't really mind maps. Some are unbalanced like Country Swing and Montana DMZ, so I don't like to pick them as host. But if we're doing a teamed 2 v 2 and the host team selects one of these maps and takes bottom or right side respectively, we all know what the deal is there.
-
whoa justin lost to jsds...insane. i gotta see this for myself
-
i think most people just go to general and dont realize there is an entire tournament section
-
Should i reinstall it? It is showing up under device manager and is up to date. I did not have any issues with previous versions of 3.x. only the current version. I played the tournament games last week on 3.x.
-
Unfortunately, I got lucky and I don't know why the game started that once, but never again. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. I'm 100% sure it is the update that we're currently on that has something changed which my computer isn't liking. Because I can download and use older versions with no issues. Let me know
-
magically, it decided to work. not sure how or why, but it did. I'll let you know if any problems come up again. Thanks
-
Yes, I at least have directx 10
-
Yes. I didnt have any issues until thsi new version. If i run an old version, nameley 2.0.2.5 or somethin like that...it works just fine. And i had the previous version adn played on cncnet up through yesterday with no issues.
-
Here are two different logs
-
Where do i find that?
