Hosting QM games sounds awful, that will lead to the problems ra2 had which is people playing only one map the entire month and having all +5 point games, at the same time killing QM activity.

I'd like to see a no eat for first minute of the game patch in QM.

As for Prep, I'd leave this discussion to people that actually know the matchup to help out people that don't, you are clearly out of your element and nothing you say is even remotely accurate.

From my experience the Yuri player just gets 5v1'd in a FFA and then he's out of the game.

Yuri has a very bad economy early, eating their slaves early with your dogs after scouting will keep their eco down,and then a minute or two later sending a deso in a flak track to their miners, at this time of the game the Yuri will have no money at all and it's almost impossible to kill the deso with a slave miner due to miners being bugged and running away from enemy units. If the Yuri player just camps all game they are basically handing you the win for free, you just tech up and keep iron drones their army until your nuke is up then you nuke / IC rhinos and gg.

Just a heads up doing this would make Yuri much stronger.

Lying as usual, Csoh will post the games here. I see you don't get sarcasm, RaVaGe played as Yuri on his patch and lost every game he played vs someone who wasn't even building super weapons.

Martin the creator of this patch was using Yuri earlier today vs CsOhs Sov and losing to sov that wasn't building SW Yuri OP.. nice patch

There seems to be the same group of players always complaining about things that are "op" because they are just bad at the game, no matter how many changes that were made they would still complain as they are not top players, at this point we should probably just ignore what they have to say. Not sure me losing a few games to CsOh only and taking a break for a week to focus on more important things would be called "getting beat out of top 10" I'll be back to take rank 1 at the end of the month.

I'm fine with this too but it will just make the last week of the ladder completely inactive since all the top players will have already played eachother all month. If someone is good enough to get points to match you they should be able to play you at all times imo, these random people who don't even play the game shouldn't be able to decide who you can play against.

I don't think it would prove anything more than the stats do already, but I'm down for random SS during QM.

The way you have it now Yuri will never get their derrick, I fixed that by giving each person a free derrick and then Yuri can get their derricks later. And in SvS / AvA you can protect your derricks with dogs.

If you are not the best at the game you won't beat top sov players either, you guys need to stop crying and making excuses and just learn the damn game, it's been out for 18 years. Yuri takes a different play style than just going multiple wars and slamming rhinos into the enemy which is why one dimensional ra2 players just can't adapt. If you can't beat bad Yuri players then clearly it's you and not the game as there are many players doing just fine vs the Yuri faction.

Being at the top for 12+ years now I'd say makes me relevant, you on the other hand have never been a top 30 player and are calling Yuri OP which makes me completely disregard anything you have to say.

The Sahara edit is terrible and completely unfair for Yuri, if you can post the map file here I will balance it and see what you think. Until then I'm sure all Yuri players will veto this map.
