  3. It could be defined that you only get points if you beat players max 10 ranks below you... so if you get 0 points for beating noob players it would avoid your concern

  5. 3.4.0.2 - Due to be released 22/07/2017 (10:30am BST) Bug fix: High resolution previews were not showing for custom maps. Now all maps use extracted thumbnail preview by default, and if a high resolution preview exists, it will use that instead. #NoMoreOrangeScreens This seems not to work for me or do I understand something wrong? The auto generated high res preview is located in the custom maps directory.

  8. Hi Rampastring, yes - my initial issue seems to be resolved now - now it happens just every 6-7 time i start a game... maybe for other reason. Thank you very much guys... this really helped a lot - now it takes much less time to get a game to run..., great Job!
  9. Hi, what about a pinned thread where users can request features/enhancements for the Red Alert 2 client? I think this would ne a good source to gain new ideas or user feedback. Possible Structure: Name of Request: Ping of Players in Game Lobby Description: Ping of players should be shown next to the player in the lobby (currently it is just shown when a player joins). Maybe it could be done via colors: <80ms green, <100ms yellow, >100ms red, no ping grey (and on hoover over it it shows the value) Reason: Better overview + faster kick + faster gamestart Picture: Attached Ideally each request would be answered and the Roadmap would be displayed in the first post...: Answer: No, because.... or Yes, added to roadmap - please provide more deteails or suggestion.
  10. I would not recommend to do this... this is a big advantage if you see the whole map on one screen... this is like cheating if you play against someone with 1280x800

  12. Hi I plan to make some finetuning to my map and have some questions: 1. Is there any possibility to edit the "map created by unknown" information in Final Alert? 2. how can i make a HD preview of the map?
  13. 1. I open a game with custom map for 2vs2 2. Three more players join 3. One of them (or more) download the map the first time 4. I start the game 5. Loadscreen shows 3 players loading - the forth player does not load and is thrown back to gamelobby (where you select the map etc.) 6. Game starts 2vs1 for the remaining players 7. All go back to lobby since noone wants to play 2vs1 8. Start game again with same players -> game works The issue is, that players always leave the game after the first fail... so you need to start 10 times until all 4 players give it a second try. It looks like some issue with the order of map initialization steps. We can try it together if you want.

I am just noticing this issue for a long time and stopped to play because of this - it takes 20 retries until all players have the map loaded... if the game load crashes they dont stay in gamelobby they just leave the game and then new players come and have to load the map again which leads to crashes again... this is so annoying - is there any plan to fix this in near future? https://forums.cncnet.org/topic/7062-little-big-lake-for-2vs2-presidential-lake/#comment-54365

Hi Grant, thanks for your reply, as you can see in the other thread it seems to be a spread issue - maybe peaople blame their connection or something and thats why no one reported it yet ... but i notice it every time i make a new map... if player loads the map the first time it crashes 100%... if you restart the game it works perfectly...   21. please no hate - thats why i did not call it little big lake but have choosen another name Mine is optimized for equal opportunities... i focused on symmetry and looks at the end. Derricks and gems can be adjusted at any time... The version you show is shitty - no space for build for other 2 players... exactly that is why i made it a bit bigger from sice and also made space for second players to build shipyard e.g.... @XXxPrePxX is it really a known error? I searched for that but i cant find any posts adressing that ... thats a pretty big issue ... do you have any advice whom of the developers i should adress that topic to`?
  22. Hi everyone, I have made the best map which was ever made: A 2 vs 2 version of the original map [2] Little Big Lake. I call it "[4] Presidential Lake Can someone help me to find a bug on it? If a player loads + starts the map the first time he is dropped back to lobby and others which have it have the loading screen until it times out. if everyone already has the map it works flawlessly...
