[YF]_Revive Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 (edited) In the picture, gamemd-spawn.exe launched directly by cncnet uses only one core. In some large maps, a core operation can cause a sense of stagnation. I manually set up gamemd-spawn.exe in the task manager, using all cores. Then the game is very smooth and there is no stagnation. The request, cncnet launched gamemd-spawn.exe, can be automatically using all cores. Edited December 19, 2019 by [YF]_Revive
lhtkick Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 Multi core is easy to CRASH when u operation 2 fast, single core is the most stable, NOOB YF XD 1

This is because multi-core-CPU is known to causes crashes in RA2 & YR, so it was fixed by enabling only a single core affinity. 1

turbozob Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 (edited) With multi core, game works better. If CNC-DDraw renderer is used I have single core, if TS-DDRAW is used then game is ran with multi core. Edited May 11, 2020 by turbozob
