fl3nd3r Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 Hello, I am creating a map to play in normal multiplayer, but I am also adding units following waipoints etc. The map crashes a few seconds after loading. I was wondering if they can't be used here, or maybe I have something wrong. Thanks so much.

I have now made several changes in hopes of fixing the error, and currently I don't have a map to post. For the moment I just wanted to know if it is possible "for example" to play a multiplayer map where there are AI units that follow waypoints like simple patrols that are put into singleplayer missions. Of course I created the map with final alert, I saved it in .yrm format and then renamed it to .map as it says manual. Thank you.
McPwny Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 oh yeah definitely possible. there are some restrictions to skirmish maps though; for example, one is that if you spawn a unit with a multiplayer players house but that player isnt in the game, you get a crash.
fl3nd3r Posted December 27, 2020 Author Posted December 27, 2020 Then it could be, cause I gave the house "civilian" believing to do well. I'll try again and let you know. Thanks a lot.
fl3nd3r Posted December 27, 2020 Author Posted December 27, 2020 I have made a lot of progress Now I only miss one last thing that I will try to do tomorrow, if I can't I will still take advantage of your precious help if I can xD
Ezer_2000 Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 If you add player presence check, you can spawn everything you want in any moment of game.
