Extract the contents of the winzip file into your Red Alert2 Directory.Launch the game,select new campaign for the Allies. The game will then launch. Fire and Ice Watch out for the Guysers ! ------------------------------- Fire and Ice.zip Location: The Golden Circle, Iceland Info: Welcome to Iceland Commander, the land of Fire and Ice. Where snow lays heavy beside geothermal geysers that erupt randomly across the unforgiving terrain spraying the immediate area in scalding water, or superheated lava. It can be a hostile environment, where the occassional Polar Bear can turn up, and the Icelandic policy is strictly to shoot on sight. However of late things have gotten out of control. It is here on this very cold land that the Soviets have established a base. This base was very quickly over-run, by a far greater threat, that of Yuri. For here the great enemy of the Allies and the Soviets, has a new stronghold, one that is full of warehouses, where its rumoured a new tank design has entered production. Here where the ground can spit fire, Yuri has been inspiried by the lands unique properties and created his own Flame-Tank, known as the 'Wrath Tank', these tanks can pour hot lava onto any structure, reducing armour to mush in moments. Commander were sending you to this land of extremes to track down these tanks and destroy them. Take control of the local airport, destroy Yuri's prototype Wrath Tanks, and capture or destroy Yuri's command centre. Should you get control of one of these 'Wrath' Tanks, ensure that is destroyed also! Your Forces are on there way, Good Luck! Objective 1:Capture and hold the Airport to the South-West. Objective 2:Destroy all of Yuri's Experimental Wrath Tanks. Objective 3:Capture or Destroy Yuri's Command Centre. Game Modes: ---------- Easy: Extra Reinforcements, added Bonus Crates, Reduced Ai Attacks. Medium: Few More Yuri Defences, Units and Attacks. Hard: No Help, More Patrols, More Defences Harder Ai. McPwny Posted June 4, 2021 Share Posted June 4, 2021 the mission was a lot of fun. i ended up capturing a yuri conyard and making several battle fortresses filled with 1 virus, 3 yuri, and 1 chrono legionairre and a bunch of prism tanks and psychic dominating them to make the mind control immune and using them to steam roll the enemy, capturing many of the special enemy tanks along the way making it an unstoppable armored blob in spite of the relentless AI assault. early in the game i attempted a chronosphere rush on the enemy psychic dominator only to blow up a mind controlled flak trak filled with engineers which immediately captured the enemy HQ giving me a 'secondary objective achieved' message. i dont know what it did, but the enemy promptly blew up the captured building. i found that using a spy on an enemy slave miner gives infinate money also. after nearly destroying every enemy unit, i accidentally destroyed the airport to the west which gave me a 'mission failed' 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
