Hello People,

 

I present you the first map mod collection of my modded maps in order to share the fun of them.

 

The ones of you that don't know WWII - Europe (any version) you may need some hints...

 

- don't underestimate infantry especially at the beginning of a match (after the very early game you may need artillery to support your inf)

- Why are the vehicles so expensive? Isn't it obvious?! They are powerful...

- Only Artillery and AA-Gun is AntiAir

 

I recommend team matches like

- 2on2

- 2on2on2

- 3on3

 

If you just want to play without teams...

well just do it...

 

The other maps are

 

- Sea Tournament

- Sea Invasion

- Modern Warfare (Europe map with modern troops)

Hello party people  :beer:,

 

8) I see... some things need to be fixed and balanced.

 

If you dont mind report me the problems you find out.

 

I already made some fixes...

- the AT and MG bunker (weapons)

 

and some further changes are in planning...

- Bomber faster to build (maybe cheaper)

- MG tank has to dmg APC's

- General build time increasing(faster)

- Bomber speed increasing(support landing on airfield and service depot)

- Flamethrower infantry has to dmg APC's

- Making YAK weaker against buildings

- AA-Gun extending range

- Decreasing ground defense towers range

- APC speed decreasing

- Tanks speed decreasing

- APC efficiency against inf decreasing

 

 

Just write me a private message to tell me your problems or bugs

I'll try to fix them.

Hello people,

i am glad that i can finally present you the final version of WWI - Europe

 

Changes to v1:

 

- MG speed reduced (AAgun, MG)

- Infantry more useful

- Speed of units balanced(Tanks, APC, Bomber"MIG")

- Range reduced (Ground Defense Towers)

- and some other bugfixes and unbalanced values

Hello folks,

 

I proudly present you the latest version of my modded maps.

 

Changes:

- minor bugfixes.

- GDI NOD europe transport works for both sides.

- GDI NOD maps dogs removed.

- WWII map improved with better flamethrower inf.

 

Features:

- The maps contain high qualitaty, balanced and calculated units.

- Different kind of gameplay(from fast clicking wars to in depth strategy)

 

Future:

 

I have planned to do a new mod which depends on your wishes.

So feel free to write and suggestions are welcome.

Hello folks,

 

I proudly present you the latest mappack of my maps which are probably the "best" ;) modded maps. Simply extract to Red Alert MAIN FOLDER.

 

Requirements: Only Red Alert 1.(no addon needed "well don't enable one, I MEAN IT, DON'T".) WARNING : Also crates will change the gameplay experience. It is made for playing without crates(Crates off recommended).

 

As I pronounced I am telling you the preferences and game styles of each map type.

 

First there are currently:

 

- Sea Tournament

- Sea Invasion

- GDI NOD (Tiberian Dawn)

- WWI "World War I"

- WWII "World War II"

- MW "Modern Wars"

- FW "Future Wars"

Sea Tournament

----------------------------------

Sea Tournament simply adds to both sides the possibility to build all ships and the submarine.

 

Game Style : At most like RA. Ships, lots of ships and well subs.  XD

 

Unit requirements :

- Destroyer = Radar Dome, Sam

- Cruiser = Radar Dome, Service Depot

Sea Invasion

----------------------------------

Sea Tournament simply removes all ships and the submarine but the transport and gun boat.

 

Game Style : At most like RA. Like the name says. Invade the enemy or neutral islands. Conquer the map and defeat your enemies.

GDI NOD

----------------------------------

GDI NOD is a ""total conversion"" of Red Alert into Tiberian Dawn, except of one rule and that is the engineer(5 needed to capture Construction Yard).

Well it wasn't possible to add the option to capture a building with just 1 enginner(requires aftermath to enable) and I didn't want to force people to play aftermath but to force people play red alert  :roll:.

 

Game Style : Pretty much like CNC95 but on larger maps.

 

Unit/building requirements :

Like in CNC95 but special units don't require Allied Tech Center or Soviet Tech Center, they require Service Depot or Radar Dome.

WWI

----------------------------------

Wow, pretty much to tell, where shall I start, eeeeh...

No special benefit to any side(ALLIES SOVIET)

Both sides have same units/buildings.

 

Game Style : More strategic. Less fast. Trench Warfare, early Infantry and Artillery, late Tanks and Bombers/Fighters.

 

The AA-Gun is the only thing against AIR!!!

There is one "important" hint to tell about the Bomber "MIG" (use Ctrl+left mouse).

 

Unit/building strongvs-weakvs-useless :

 

 

Rifle Inf  any infantry-mg tank,apc,defences,flame inf-in air units

 

AT inf(bazooka) vehicles-any infantry-in air units            :    It has a anti-tank rifle

 

Flame Inf any infantry,light vehicles-armoured vehicles,rifle inf-in air units

 

Light Tank(light artillery) any inf,light armoured vehicles-tanks-in air units

 

Jeep(medium artillery) any inf,light armoured vehicles-...-in air units

 

Artillery(heavy artillery) any inf,buildings,armour-...-in air units

 

APC any inf-...-any vehicle,buildings,air unit,in air units

 

Heavy tank(Tank MG) any inf-...-any vehicle,buildings,air unit,in air units

 

Medium tank(Tank AT) any vehicle-any inf-in air units

 

Yak(Double Winged Fighter) any inf,light vehicles-armoured vehicles,AAGUN-in air units(sadly)

 

MIG(Triple Winged Bomber) any ground unit,buildings-...-in air units

 

Camo Pillbox(MG Pillbox) any inf,light armoured vehicles-any artillery-in air units

 

Pillbox(AT Pillbox) any vehicle-any artillery-in air units

Unit/building requirements :

Both tanks require Warfactory and Service Depot.

Airfield only requires Construction Yard and Radar dome.

Units behavior is like in reality, almost...

No special benefit to any side(ALLIES SOVIET)

Both sides have same units/buildings.

 

Game Style : Strategic but not as slow as WWI. WW II, early Infantry and Artillery, late Tanks and Fighters.

 

The AA-Gun and Artillery is the only things against AIR!!!

Rifle Inf  any infantry-defences,flame inf-in air units

 

Grenadier(Smg soldier) any infantry-defences,flame inf-in air units

Flame Inf(ALLIED,SOVIET)

Game Style : Freaking fast building and fast gameplay. Be quick.

 

Unit/building strongvs-weakvs-useless :

 

 

Rifle Inf"AVATAR CYBORG" extremely efficient against any infantry but weak vs TESLA CYBORG. not against air.

 

Grenadier"DESTROYER CYBORG" common inf against any type of unit. not against air.

 

Rocket inf"HUNTER KILLER CYBORG" using massive ammounts of bullets to ring down enemy infantry and shooting enemy vehicles with cluster missles also against air units.

 

Flame Inf"TESLA CYBORG" using his TESLA rail gun to destroy enemy infantry at distance. was developed to counter AVATAR CYBORGS. not against air.

 

Spy"SPY CYBORG" infiltrates enemy buildings to steal intelligence.

 

Thief"HACKER CYBORG" hacks your enemies ressources and transfers it to your very own.

 

Medic"REPAIR CYBORG" repairs your CYBORGS.

 

Light Tank"CHIMERA" using its autocannon to destroy enemy vehicles and buildings but its small calibre doesn't give the opportunity to deal much damage.

                              the mg is very efficient against enemy infantry. not against air.

 

Medium Tank"VENDATOR" using a medium calibre autocannon and a mg like the CHIMERA. not against air.

 

Heavy Tank"ANNIHILATOR" a big threat to enemy vehicles. using its high calibre double autocannon to destroy enemy vehicles in short time.

                                      also has a mg like the other smaller tanks to deal with close infantry. not against air.

 

Mammoth Tank"XEON ANNIHILATOR" the biggest destruction machine humankind ever made. Try to run ... try to hide ... it won't help ... you are done.

                                                      Its huge calibre rail autocannon vaquishes enemies on sight. And its cluster missles deal with enemy air units.

 

APC"TORMENTOR TRANSPORT VEHICLE" a transport for quick A to B connections for infantry and support for infantry against enemy infantry units. not against air.

 

MIG"AVENGER JET" High tech airplane to deal with enemy ground units and buildings.

 

Camo Pillbox/Pillbox  Defence System against any type of units (ground,"sea",air).

 

SAM High tech anti air missle system.

 

HIND"HORNET HOVERCOPTER" dealing enemy ground objects.

 

APACHE"HUNTER HOVERCOPTER" dealing enemy ground objects.

 

Unit/building requirements :

Helipad, Airfield, Thief, Spy, Flame Inf requires Radar Dome.

Changelog:

- Completely turned RA into CNC95 (by value 100%, visual all units)

- GDI NOD contains now a own folder with 27 maps for you to play.

- Future Wars, Modern Warfare, World War I and World War II got reskin.

Hi folks,

 

I made this new mappack because there were some reports to the heavy artillery in WW1 mod map which seems to be overpowered, yes it does it was bugged because the model that is used for it is in original ra the mammoth tank(shooting the mammoth tusks). But I also made other important fixes/changes.

 

Changelog:

- Artillery fixed(heavy artillery too)

- Triple winged bomber fix service depot(Service depot now repairs damaged bomber)

- Double winged fighter and Triple winged bomber speed increased.

Hi folks,

 

finally I made all graphics working.

The new "images" are added in the mappack the file of the images is "sc-cnc95.mix" <- the file is crucial for "GDI NOD" CNC95 mod maps.

 

Changelog:

- New animation for Obelisk of Light (Nod)

- New animation for Commando (GDI, Nod)

- New animation for Guard Tower (GDI)

- New animation for Advanced Guard Tower (GDI)

given that its a separate file download I guess it would work for single player stuff but a lot of people would miss out on these because it isn't incorporated into cncnet's custom graphics, and I got a lot of stick for having a mod that was not rules.ini only (i.e. I had a crapton of custom shiz, mostly .shps)

I must correct you because it is not true. It completely works if all players have the mix file. Plus the mix file is used for the CNC95 mod maps only.

well yeah but they cant just download it from cncnet5 lobby.

Random players will join your game but some may not want/know about requirement of custom graphics, and it would get annoying if you had to endlessly post links in your lobbies to download a bunch of stuff for a small mod.

I already pointed out I had similar issues trying to get other people to play my mod. (btw if you're interested the rules.ini complete conversion is 98% done)
