Nyerguds Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Yeah, that's the game asking for a CD all right. Not sure why it messes up like that.
Iran Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 It's a bug with 3.03, curiously when I was testing out optional no-CD for my patch recently it would randomly show the box properly.

Well I actually got the beta patch at Nyerguds' site but I downloaded one here in this forums too.
Nyerguds Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Well I actually got the beta patch at Nyerguds' site but I downloaded one here in this forums too. That's just Tore's mirror of my version I think... exactly the same installer.
DarkVen9109 Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Ohh that? Anyways, do you know how to fix that problem above?
Nyerguds Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Give it a CD? The patch only switches to NoCD mode if it detects a TFD or Origin install. The reason for this is that RA's mixfiles-inside-mixfile system makes it impossible to check if an installation on hard disk is actually capable of NoCD, and giving people the option to use a nocd exe while they don't have the files on disk will just cause loads more problems.
