C&C RA - How to add new soundtracks

Saw the other thread, knew I wanted to add music to my own RA mod (I actually want to do a WHOLE new playlist, but we'll see)

Issue is, I have NO idea how. I don't even know where the music files are kept, or their file format. Any help would be well appreciated.

 

On further research, ARDA allows my to add as many as I want and/or keep the original tracks. So my question is more, what format are the music files for RA?

And Funkyfr3sh's new RA lets all new/replacement files be put into a single mix strait in the main directory.

Well you can name it any file you want. Music files are kept at scores.mix. If you want to make your own .mix file use SC-****.MIX but you could encrypt the mix file in-case names got changed automatically.

C&C1, RA1, Tiberian Sun and Dune 2000 all use exactly the same AUD format. I explained how to convert to it in the other thread.

If you're running my patch put the .AUD files in a MIX file starting with "sc", e.g. "scsssss.mix" then create a music.ini file like:
