Any way to access the mission maps?

I was wondering: is there any way to access the maps from the actual in-game missions? I'd love to be able to modify one. If they're accessible, where are they stored in the game folders?

the maps are located inside of the .mix files, use XCC mixer to extract them

Yeah, but which mix files? main.mix or redalert.mix?

Stock and CnC Net 4 maps are in main.mix than general.mix CnC Net 5 Maps are in the map folder. You will need to copy them to your main RedAlert folder so RAED or WinEd can open them.

yeah teh new map access system means I can't load them up in RAED and use them

CnC Net 5 can read maps left in the main RedAlert folder. Just copy the map you want to edit and give it another name and file name and your ready to go.

but before if I had them I could just load them from the mix files

Ture but RAED can't save in a mix and you have to give your edited map its own name and file name.

RAED can read all maps in the actual folder RAED.exe is located.
