Map freeze/crash

My brother is creating a map for Tiberian Sun Firestorm called Black Sea, but after some gameplay the game freezes or crashes. He tried to take some of the objects away but it doesn't help. The time the game crashes varies and this problem only occurs in this map. There comes an error message: Tiberian Sun has encountered internal error, unable to continue normally.

Could be one or many patches of Tiberium placed on a slope. Tiberium can only be place on flat ground and IF Tiberium is placed on a slope the game will crash when viewed by the player. This mean the map will play fine tell the player sees it on there screen.

I think the shroud is a purely graphical thing in the C&C engine, meaning that the error would probably also occcur when viewing the position even when it's still in undiscovered terrain. The picture shows he's scrolling down during the crash, so it's a fair bet this is the issue, yes. In fact, it should more or less pinpoint one of the problem positions on the map.

Hasn't anyone made a tool for checking overlay and slopes on TS maps yet? :S

[edit]

Apparently, there are special tiberium patches for use on slopes, but FinalSun doesn't bother using them, and always places the 'flat' tiberium, thus causing the crashes.
