Humble
mpstats.txt was file in SUN folder that after any game would show connection information (like laggers) and IP address, etc. How do we go about checking these stats now?
FunkyFr3sh
never heard about it, maybe it was a special WOL feature
MrFrodo
It was generated after games on XwIS I shows frame stalls lag etc
Humble
^ This is partially why I requested something built in that keeps track of and tags laggers on the client side, maybe even shares it with people on friends list
Grant
We wouldn't want IP's to be shown to anyone anyway its a privacy breach, so mpstats wouldn't be the way forward.
FunkyFr3sh
I wonder what it was showing, can someone post the content of this file here? I have been addign live stats to dune2000/red alert, showing some connection info in real time would be a nice feature
Grant
This could be a good example, or it could be RA2's, TS might be different. http://xwis.net/forums/index.php/topic/79158-mpstatstxt-how-2-read-who-lags/

MrFrodo
mpstats.txt Name: Address: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Max avg round trip: 142 Max round trip: 206 Resends: 5 Frame sync stalls: 438 Command cound stalls: 0 Lost: 25 Percent lost: 3 This is how it showed for TS on Xwis. Resend, frame sync stalls, roudtrips, pack lost sent... Etc And over here http://xwis.net/ts/games/ it showed the avg FPS during a gane which was always shite fir TS compared to RA2. Humble
Would be nice if the client could keep track of these details for us, and flag laggers automatically.
