Lots of people using other people's names

Is there going to be passwords implemented to prevent misuse of names? It would be easy to wrap around the NICKSERV and solve a lot of problems, or use some type of web authentication. I am continuously hearing about people using other people's names. I was just curious if this has already done this but just had not put it into effect yet...

People that use other peoples nicknames get and have no respect (for anything or anyone) not even for themselves, whatsoever.

yeah I remember on xwis I had a stolen serial and people logging into my nicks pretending to be me...same thing going on cnc net when I started playing there. Some really possessed people around...

i also had it on xwis, and then they tried to claim / own my rank 1 on that nick (lols!)

By my opinion players oftenly change their nicks, it looks weird when i see about 100 previous nicks of same player. And its problem for me recognise man with who i playing before.

I believe there used to be a limit of two logins per player.  Maybe something similar wouldn't be a bad idea, or better yet, maybe limit it to two logs, but allow them to delete one and make a new one every month if they so choose, but at least they would only have two logs during each month period.
