[wip] Logging in, and getting a list of accounts

Recommended Posts

So to get a bit motivated, I'm going to post some progress videos/and or screenshots to show what I'm working on in relation to the client.

This currently links up locally with a work in progress API.

that is awesome..i for one appreciate the work you have/are doing. I know that you are doing this alone basically and it would be nice if the community showed a little respect and appreciation for your dedication...because without it...there would be no YR as we know it now.

great work, maybe you could also implement a clan creating system with a similar process ;) - but no stress, youre doing well :))

New video

Shows success/error handling for logging into your account, creating usernames that already exist.

Also added but not shown is error handling for if the API server is offline.

Thanks to dkeeton, added password stars.

Next todo:

  • Creating new accounts from scratch
  • Creating a custom UI element for swapping out plain text as *******'s in password fields
  • Logging into your account and seeing a verified badge/icon next to your username

great work, maybe you could also implement a clan creating system with a similar process ;) - but no stress, youre doing well :))

Thanks - yeah a clan creation would go through a similar process I would imagine.

You should contact dkeeton, IIRC he already did both of those quoted things.

I guess I should put this into a branch on GitHub? It's not YR specific.

Sorry for the lack of updates I've been stupidly busy at work these last two weeks, no weekend.
