  1. Try running the client as administrator, along with spawnmap.ini its complaining about.
  2. New test updates available, please re-run the testing app and let us know any problems.
  3. Not to sound stupid because I've done it myself, you sure you're not hitting fn by mistake, instead of ctrl?
  4. Red Alert 2 isn't free, see here - http://cnc-comm.com/community/index.php?topic=3967.0
  5. Yeah that will be a DPI issue, Rampastring is aware of this bug. Can you see if settings your windows DPI setting to 100% fixes that issue or not?
  6. gamemdx64 is a special modification of the YR exe distributed with the TFD 1.03 patch: http://www.cncnz.com/hosted-projects/command-patch/the-first-decade-unofficial-patch/ And yes, kid, I do know RA2's .exe is called game.exe, perhaps I'd have known that after 14 years of playing RA2 and answering a bajillon support threads in the C&C community... -.-" 1.Try adding this to ra2.ini file above everything: [Video] AllowHiResModes=yes AllowVRAMSidebar=yes 2.make game.exe, ra2.exe and mph.exe windows xp sp3 compatibility and tick run as admin button too then try starting the game. Also make sure that you tried the first method with your monitor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2M9xOXxwK1g 3.If its still not wokring try again the method above but this time duplicate your monitor. 4.If stilll not working try changing your windows to 16bit mode and add " -win" witouth quotes to ra2 shortcut And sorry for telling you about that file but i tend to explain in very detail for most of people. Note if its Yuri, its ra2md.ini which the client handles for you anyway.

Hey and welcome! You can play skirmish games via the CnCNet client by just including AI's in your game (I.e Brutal enemy). You don't have to play via the in game menu. These links should help you out with tactics, otherwise search up on YouTube some videos to see how people play! https://www.youtube.com/user/CnCRedAlert2/videos http://xwis.net/forums/index.php/topic/62084-yr-players-guide/ http://xwis.net/forums/index.php/topic/177567-sekes-guide-to-miner-control-and-refinery-placement/

  10. Yuri's Revenge Testers! We've made an application to test pending updates. Simply download and run the CnCNetTeters.exe in your game directory. Click Get Updates, once its finished, click the button Launch CnCNet! Download here Note, unless there are other testers online with you, you will be alone in the lobby. Please report any bugs, make sure games work, make sure custom maps transfer/download. Of course if there are Kaboom messages, please report them here with your upload log. -- To return to normal, simply run your normal shortcut/ CnCNetClientYR.exe and it will remove the test updates.
  11. Hi Mark, please PM me an email address we can let you know when an update is ready to test. Thank you!
  12. Try this one https://www.dropbox.com/s/x10hvfosgn0k0mp/ddraw.dll?dl=0
  13. Do you still have ddraw in your folder?
  14. Yes, currently all well known cheats we are aware of are blocked. XWIS would be unable to apply our type of blocks due to the lack of client. We can enforce updates, XWIS can't unfortunately.
  15. Is there an antivirus and/or firewall blocking game.dat, and/or the cncnet client?
  16. How long is your nickname on YR? Under 12 characters?
  17. Hello all! CnCnet hopes to be releasing its first leaderboard soon, supporting in release 1, Red Alert 1 and Tiberian Sun. Here's a couple of snazzy screenshots to have a look over! Developers and/or watchers can find our Github repo here. Feel free to follow us on our progress or contribute!
  18. Theres many reasons, multi platform, game and o/s bugs being easier to fix, actual "HD". How did OpenRA become successful? Being an open source reimplementation Red Alert?
  19. I personally love the ambition in the OpenRA project, kudos to you Matt and to everyone involved, it's a great achievement. My only criticism is how the project grew away from trying to replicate the current gameplay and balance. It's great to update the UI, make the game HD, but changing the core mechanics and balance should have been controlled IMO. Still thats my only criticism, great work otherwise
  20. Maybe he dropped the cd cases... These are great btw! Can we get these in a higher res photo too - maybe on a white background if poss? Think I might start a share your collection post on Facebook.
  21. Yeah I can photoshop out the flash thats good, do you have a credit url you want added?
  22. Very nice, if there's a better quality picture can we feature it on our Facebook page? If you have a small twitter or web url you want to advertise on the image wack it up, or credit the school.
  23. Hey welcome - if a product code from Amazon/elsewhere, and to redeem in Origin see here: http://help.ea.com/en/article/origin-code-redemption-faq/#2 Otherwise if a serial from a purchased game, this may work or it may not: http://help.ea.com/uk/article/redeem-your-serial-code-in-origin/
  24. Hey there, Sorry to hear you're having trouble. What operating system are you running? Have you tried a skirmish game (with toggling videobackbuffer) to see if there is a complete difference? What's your location? UK, USA?
