Not saying im quitting, but Im putting it out there incase someone might have the energy to do it quicker - This is a very early version where I was testing graphical outputting of maps, nothing is basically implemented here other then a basic server environment for research. It does include most of the game information needed for putting together a proper server easily enough.

  4. Sorry killa, I ran out of time on this one and no-one seemed to want to help. It probably doesn't need much to make it work properly.
  5. The following is a prototype program designed to one of the community member's idea's, yet in a not-fully working state (ran out of time). I implore anyone who wishes to complete this program to do so, it is most likely full of design flaws and mistakes.   6. Plokite_Wolf, I would highly recommend allowing Tore and/or MNDakota to at least help out with your streaming of the old games that we host here. I dare say that few others in the world have bothered to put the same amount of effort into doing what they have done; peace out.

  9. Why dont you take this a step further and make custom .shps for each of your vehicles so its more convincing?
  10. Hah, Nyerguds you looked Hifi needs your help with sorting out possible desync issues with cncnet5. Its not networking protocol at all, its just internal variables for the engine and such and he would appreciate whatever help he can get. K Thanks, Bye
  11. Yep, that is true; at 0 the whole thing is unbridled. The formula is just to provide a basic understanding of it, a more accurate description could be explained with a more complicated implement of course. On a side note, I was confused about the exact engine fps till I took in account the animation system, which runs at 11-16fps ontop of the normal game fps; which confused me for a while until i ran the game at 1000 gamespeed and saw it still drew frames.
  12. I am fimilar with the path finding logic of sole.exe if that helps; it might be the same in C&C95.
