some of the things mentioned above, making the wolverine useful, as well as the nod buggy. A disc man should not be able to kill a nod buggy 1v1. There are many other things, I'm just wondering if CNCnet would actually consider changing the actual unit traits for good

I always use them to shoot down enemy air units 20 jump jet infantry can shoot down a banshee easy. thats the biggest waste of cash i've ever heard lol. Buy a sam?

To be clear, I'm certain you play Red Alert and T-Dawn, Jacko. These two games are the least dynamic games in the series in my opinion. As they are the games that started the series, im not surprised. Those games have a lack of micro, and macro as well as a lack of hot keys, interface and unit control. Not to say that they have 0 dynamics, TS definitely is more dynamic. I've played most CNC games, and they only become more dynamic with the years

The useless units are wolverines and nod buggys. Say what you will about MLRS, but they are still used online as hit-and-run units...not often, but they are used on certain maps, in certain conditions. Jumpjets are primarily used for scouting, once in a while you'll see some weird JJ attack that's just more annoying then actually damaging. When it comes to wolverines and nod buggys, they are useless on all levels, on any map, at all times. Wolverines are too expensive and incredibly weak. They are only good against infantry, and realistically you should just build infantry than a wolverine. Nod buggys are all messed up. The buggy is more expensive than a disc man, and 1v1 the disc man will win the battle, which just doesn't make any sense at all. Other than the occasional quick scouting, the buggy is useless. If the wolverine and buggy traits were altered, it would add a new dynamic to scouting, inf rushing, hit-and-run, and much more.

would it be possible to change the ban button (the red X in game channel) to kick, and the kick command (/kick) to ban. I think this would be more efficient

While there's no set quarter timeline at the moment - Grant, Funky and myself are working diligently on getting it up and running (by 2015) We've actually gained some major traction this past week in getting the ladder server online and properly accepting game results. There's still a lot of work to be done in calculating points etc. but, we're getting really close! this is fantastic news

I added a /kick command, it works like this: /kick c0rpsmakr you can use the TAB key to automatically complete the nickname, so you only have to type the first letter of the name and press TAB not working for me

Great post very informative. I believe the majority of the players that are actively playing TS are waiting for the ladder to increase the competitiveness. When a ranking system is implemented (with clans), I believe the activity level of TS will increase dramatically. Every day we see more players playing the game, this will only increase with more players. Quick Match is a good idea, but not without ranking. Lots of people will enter the game, only to see them allied to a newbie, and then quit. It's only natural as there are quite a lot of newbs out there. There is a small TS community of good players that continuously play together. If the game was ranked, they probably won't quit. The basis of TS, and most games for that matter, is based around rank. Increase the competitiveness, events, tournaments, ladders, prizes, etc. and more people will play the game and promote the game.

I appreciate the commentating, we do not have many of them in the TS community; however, it seems that you're not that great at TS, nor well known in the TS community. I'd recommend integrating yourself with some of the better players that play the game in order to gain support and recognition of your videos.
