From RA95 mission scripting (might be the same in C&C95): It was new to me that if I created a team that looked like this: APC, 2 rifle infantry, 3 grenadiers, 2 mammoth tanks, the mammoth tanks would also unload from the APC and there was no crash because of going over the capacity of 5 for the APC. -
Wow. This is just totally crazy. Nice work! I know that in RA1 allied mission 7 (scg07ea) USSR gets a HARV via paradrop. But paradropping actual buildings is really, really crazy. Explains why Nod has turrets scattered all over GDI campaign maps

Oh my God, so, so true. I haven't been on CnCNet for RA1 because all those "classy" people play on the infinite money, ugly design maps. I have no interest in playing on those maps at all. I had some really good games with some people, but a lot of them simply have no idea what to do with their units. BONUS: I'm redoing some of the original RA1 maps for my TD RA1 mod. On your knees and pray you get through some of them alive Play as Nod and be constantly struck by A10s and harrassed by GDI armor, play as GDI and Nod will just spam your critical units with bands of suicidal recon bikes aside other things. So, I made the original RA1 levels a lot harder, but since it's a different game, I'm sure you will have a great time trying all sorts of strategies to beat them.

If I replace ra95-spawn.exe with ra95.exe and some MIX files (cncnet comes with some differences in mix files) it works for me on cncnet5 as well. I think Funkyfresh knows more about this.

Allen, you are a GENIUS! The ra95-spawn.exe for RA Online does not support PortableRA's [Warheads] function. Everything that I build that has weapons with custom warheads will crash the game. It would be nice to have that feature included in ra95-spawn.exe. Allen, thank you again! -

I uploaded a few more logs on this grenadier/bazooka thing. Tried replacing shps in hires mix to original RA files, to no avail. What a wild goose chase :\ -

Yes, it's really strange. Even stranger that the e2.shp and e3.shp is the same one that is used in the original Red Alert online, which doesn't crash. The only difference is that Red Alert online has "big" infantry in it's hires.mix, whereas mine has only small ones. I don't think that's an issue because all other shp-s are changed as well. Something in rules.ini?... There isn't anything odd in there, so I don't think so... It's frustrating! -

It seems building a grenadier or bazooka crashes the game. I was able to reproduce and confirm the problem. I am looking into it right now. -

Yey Allen, thanks for your suggestion. I checked out if the game crashes if I build my Hand of NOD (TENT, bigger than the original 48x48 size) and I found that it does not. The crash occurred again, almost at the same time as before. It might have to do something with the AI placing a refinery, perhaps. edit: then again, when you place a refinery, you also get a harvester which might actutally crash the game as you suggested. But you also say it doesn't crash your game so I'll keep looking at it and see what comes up. -

I can only say, WOW and thank you very much! It works very well with Allen262's Red Dawn setup and it also starts up with the latest CnCnet 5 program but it crashes sometime in the game. I have uploaded the crash log, I suspect it has something to do with the bleeding Hand of Nod graphics (ra95-spawn.exe size: 2 503 795 bytes). This new exe is very nice with all the player color things and so on. I really appreciate all the help I get from all of you! -

I would like to port my mod to CnCnet 5. I tried replacing mix files and content of Red Alert Online, but failed spectacularly. Can I ask you for some help in doing this, if it is possible/legal/whatever at all? -
A map for you today: Super Eternal War - 126x126, Barren Ants enabled, Mammoth Tank needs WEAP only I didn't even try to finish it tonight, killed 1115 when I eliminated the first AI Really intense battles everywhere, on land and in flight. Too bad AI doesn't build navy. EDIT: ore spreads and regenerates very rapidly. scv21ea.mpr

Thank you! Now all we need I think is a RAED support for barren maps. Next tileset? I think we're pretty much done with "terrestrial" tilesets, when they finish the southeast-Asian style jungle. Savannah, arctic (ice cliffs?), extension of interior with subterranean tiles? Opinions, suggestions?
