BoP can be amazing.

For me a lot depends who you're playing with. I really love high pressure maps like Arena 33 but fun on that map is only possible if the guy across from you is at a certain skill level. If i have noobs around then i'd have much more fun playing a more camp map like sedona where new guys can take their time running through their nub bo to the point where they can help with tanks or anything. For smaller maps I really enjoy Dry heat and snow valley even though i'm probably awful at both. Dune patrol just for warming up.

Only way to settle this is to ask the devs. The game wasn't made that long ago. One of thems got to remember. Where are they now?

I know about paying extra, and it's not quite obvious to me what ping has to do with optimum settings on network devices or internet speed.

Try updating router and modem. Call isp and ask for faster speed.

I figured out how to do this. For those who might be interested, you need to go to edit then click on map. Keep a record of the width and height. Go back to edit and click on copy whole map. Now make a new map and set the width and height the same and set theater to whatever you please. Once map is generated go to edit and click paste centered. Ore posts, trees, or any buildings will not transfer over. I'll probably make a desert version of heck freezes over sometime this week.

How do I change the theater of a map? I imported and added water to an official game map that was on desert theater. Problem is that I can't make naval shipyards!!

I played maps called "defend the president" and "defend the liberty" but no water on these. You taking about different map then. :'( Nooo, i played this map. You will never find it unless an older player who has it appears out of nowhere. A shame my old computer got rid of all my maps! Yes only person left who might have a chance of having it is Sunny. I never got around to asking him. In fact, I just remembered that he might have been the 3rd guy on our team back when I played this map.
