defcon 6 possibly worst map of all time. Optimal strategy is straight tanks, and move mcv to mid and mine gems. Game is usually decided very quickly.

alting is great tactic for pros, only the super pros alt. however another way to alt is to use the s key when a tank is driving over an entrance to a warfactory or refinery
