FunkyFr3sh
[*]Does the auto-update automatically download this? [*]What are the changes? nope, config tools are not part of the automatic update, but the game installers will include it soon i forgot to tell, you need to add the hotkeys to the conquer.ini first to make it working cause old installation might not have those [WinHotkeys] KeySidebarToggle=9 KeyScatter=88 KeyStop=78 KeyGuard=71 KeyNext=78 KeyBase=72 KeyResign=35 KeyAlliance=65 KeyBookmark1=86 KeyBookmark2=32 KeyBookmark3=82 KeyBookmark4=87 KeyRepairToggle=84 KeySellToggle=89 KeyMapToggle=86 KeySidebarUp=68 KeySidebarDown=70 KeyTeam1=49 KeyTeam2=50 KeyTeam3=51 KeyTeam4=52 KeyTeam5=53 KeyTeam6=54 KeyTeam7=55 KeyTeam8=56 KeyTeam9=57 KeyTeam10=48 KeyForceMove1=18 KeyForceMove2=18 KeyForceAttack1=17 KeyForceAttack2=17 KeySelect1=16 KeySelect2=16 KeyScrollLeft=37 KeyScrollRight=39 KeyScrollUp=38 KeyScrollDown=40 KeySelectView=
AchromicWhite
uhhh. so I just popped this in and it's causing graphical problems. Stuff smearing at the bottom of the screen. Even picking up on stuff that's still in the shroud. -Liam
FunkyFr3sh
that looks like you play a small map with a too high resolution
AchromicWhite
Yes, it does look like that, but it's not. That's the Nod commando mission. It scrolls far to the south. That gunboat is at least a whole screens worth of cells away. -Liam
Nyerguds
uhhh. so I just popped this in and it's causing graphical problems. Stuff smearing at the bottom of the screen. Even picking up on stuff that's still in the shroud. -Liam Open the sidebar. It fixes that problem. It's related to loading savegames saved in a different resolution. From what I see here, the option to adjust to C&C aspect ratio was disabled. The code to fix the different resolutions savegame stuff is mostly sidebar-related, so I basically did a reload of the entire sidebar initialization.. However, for some reason this doesn't actually take effect until the sidebar is drawn, despite the reset executing on mission load. i forgot to tell, you need to add the hotkeys to the conquer.ini first to make it working cause old installation might not have those Shouldn't it insert those automatically on save anyway? My ini system has no problems inserting new sections... and a good implementation should write all of the keys, not just the changed ones.
FunkyFr3sh
Iran didn't add that, should be added tho my dune patch writes all keys too
Nyerguds
No, I mean that simply pressing "save" in the config tool should insert the section. No need to add it manually then, right? Or doesn't the editor hold default values for them? On that note, a "reset" button would be handy too, there.
FunkyFr3sh
No, it doesn't know the keys. It reads all keys it finds under the [WinHotkey] section and lists them, that makes it easier to add new hotkeys without updating the config tool later again
