fir3w0rx
I used to have Blade Runner because I love point n click adventure games (I didn't even realize it was a Westwood game). Awesome game, but the movie was even more awesome. 5 1/4 floppies - The disks with the hole in the middle I must be old coz I remember playing games on my older cousin's Commodore 64 when I was a kid. I remember having to change disks a lot while playing games, it was really annoying
Nyerguds
Well, I got this nice pack: Besides Dune II, the only one I've played so far is Kyrandia 1, though... and I haven't actually managed to beat it.

Nyerguds
I got Blade Runner too On a related note, I got an original Dune II box a couple of days ago Kidding aside, though... no, I haven't played any of the really early games, from back when they were still "Westwood Associates". fir3w0rx
THREE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND NINETYEIGHT DOLLARS... FOR TEN MEGABYTES???!!! TEN MEGABYTES?!?!? Woooow. Back in the olden days, $1 could buy a lot more than it can now, so $3398 would actually be a lot more than it sounds! How times have changed. I feel sorry for the kids from that era It makes you really appreciate what we have now though ($3398... fk me... for 10Mb???)
amokk
boy it was worth swapping discs out to play though I remember when I got enough ram so that I could load doom up on a ram drive so the wait between levels was so much less that was a good day worth it or dialing jpl bbs up long distance and downloading a picture of saturn (slowly)( before the internet) but finding out it cost $6 in long distance on the phone bill.. still worth it anyone haul their comp to a friends for a lan party multiplayer games!! very worth it (and looking across the table at the expression on their face when you own them priceless) anyone?? buler? buler? I used to have walkthoughs for some of my dos games like Leisuresuit Larry, Police Quest and Space Quest that came from there and also cracks with text files saying something like "This was brought to you by (insert hacker group name here and bbs number here)". the sound of the good old 28.8 modem firing up every morning was sweet These dinosaur modems was another really frustrating thing; everytime someone called I'd get disconnected with only half the boob downloaded

Nyerguds
It's strange how they were completely uncredited in the PC version. Only the company that ported it got mentioned.
djjammin1337
Heh... they're not even credited on the box. There is a "Westwood studios" logo when you load the game up though.
