MISSING MENU BUTTONS, BLACK SCREEN when Alt+Tab at Yuri on Windows 8.1

So in the Yuri game menu, i can't see any menu buttons in the version provided by xwis, but I have another version in wich I can see all the buttons, no problem, but when I Alt+Tab and come back to the game, the screen is black...

That is normal, the xwis version fails cause the filenames have been changed and windows fails to detect the game as Red Alert 2 and it cannot apply the automatic compat settings. If the filenames are corret then the buttons will show up but you cannot alt-tab since the compat settings are breaking this feature. There is no solution for it yet

Sorry should have been more specific, could you filter by file type so the dll files are all in the screenshot?

I never seen a key creator app in the RA2 folder before.. What does that thing do it sounds interesting

Is there any ddraw patch for ra2 like ts-ddraw avaliable?

Is there anyway to make ts-ddraw working for RA2/YR?

 

I don't know anything about programming and tech details about ddraw. But I feel ddraw patched C&C classic games are much more stable in newer OS.

ts-ddraw already works with ra2/yr, just place the ddraw.dll file in your RA2 folder
