The client launches but I get the error message right when I click CnCNet to play online KABOOOOOOM "Yuri's Revenge has crashed. If you were in the middle of doing something, the operation has been canceled. The Process cannot access the file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Red Alert II\version_u' because it is being used by another process. Please see client.log for more info. if the issue is repeatable, contact the YR staff at cnc-comm.com/community." It fails downloading the updates every time.

aWarNoob1 Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 This might be a bit much, but try doing a full system recovery. On my windows 8.1 I had the client crashing and lagging until I wiped the OS to factory settings. Most of my issues resolved after that.

Could you also tell us if you have NET 3.5 and 4 installed? find attached files, are these 2 the only ones u need? 3.5 and 4.6 .NET Are both enabled. the game never crashed when i first installed it, guy above suggest it was a custom map making it crash, these maps never crash in game, and i can minimise the crash box and still play... client.log cncnetclient.log

aWarNoob1 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 The CnCNet client has been acting up lately. Since about yesterday before the 1.94 update was released. A lot of people are getting game version n/a, and kaboooom messages when trying to host a game. This is even after the 1.94 update.

Rampastring Posted December 3, 2015 Author Posted December 3, 2015 1.15.0.7 is an ancient version. You're probably best off downloading the latest CnCNet YR installer from http://cncnet.org/yuris-revenge and re-installing CnCNet.

Grant Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 1. Backup your custom maps folder to your desktop 2. Delete the Custom maps folder in your game directory (I.e RA2-YR - Maps - Custom ), relaunch and see if that works.
