czwhat
I just installed the RA plus and everytime I try and play I get a black screen with a box in the center with no writing and no mouse pointer. Any ideas on how to fix it?

czwhat
I downloaded the game off this site is there any other files I need to make it run?
Tore
This is a weird issue, have you tried downloading it again? The installer might have been corrupted. I downloaded the game off this site is there any other files I need to make it run? No. By the way use the edit button if you forget something in a post, do not make multiple consecutive posts. Edit: Have you tried updating your graphics drivers and DirectX?
czwhat
Just updated everything and redownloaded it, but still having same issue. This is the screen im getting.
Tore
Ah, this issue. For some strange reason FullRA requires you to have a CD in your drive to play. It doesn't have to be a RA CD, it can be any CD even a blank one or StarCraft for that matter. Try putting a CD in your drive and see if it works
czwhat
Tried it but still same. I guess its just not going to work.

pichorra
did you tried this one: http://www.cnc-comm.com/community/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=45 i was going to say to you to download the CD of the game, but you use a 64-bits version of Windows who can't runs 16-bits applications, like the cd installer, so, forget it! czwhat
I got that patch allready. Im having the same issue on my desktop and that uses the 32 bit windows 7.
Nyerguds
Ehh, you shouldn't install that patch on FullRA+. It only gives its nocd exe when you install it on a correctly installed TFD. FullRA+ already contains the 3.03 patch anyway, as far as I know.
czwhat
Just reinstalled it without the patch. I get these errors now.
Ferret
In your Red Alert directory, rename "_RA95.LCF" to "RA95.LCF" and replace anything if it asks to replace something.
czwhat
I allready tried that and still get the same errors. Its the LCF file to be renamed right?

Revolutionary
The download is ok isnt it, i had problems getting RA+ to run recently having just DL it, didnt fix it as i managed to strip TS down to the required size so i could use that instead (School LAN battle )
Nyerguds
I allready tried that and still get the same errors. Its the LCF file to be renamed right? Ehh... you CAN'T get the same errors if you renamed the lcf files correctly. Simply delete the current RA95.lcf, and rename the included _RA95.lcf to RA95.lcf. That's all. If you open the file in notepad you should see it's an ini file which has a setting which tells it that RA95.dat is the program it needs to execute. whereyouat
Everything happened to me as well, first I got the registry and internet components error, changed the lcf files.. and then the black screen with the distorted menu came up. Windows 7 64 bit. Even worse it somehow deleted my C&C95 files as well which im pretty pissed about. Sigh~
