Selecting troops

I have a left handed mouse and could not drag mouse over troops to select them. 

I have found a work around that lets me select troops in the game, hold down left mouse button the press and hold right mouse button and drag over troops you want to select and you get the same selection pattern as the right handed mouse does. you must hold both mouse buttons down when dragging over troops.

my first day playing this today and it was not fun holding shift and clicking each unit to select them while my base was being ripped apart.

This is actually an old bug that used to happen all the time, I haven't heard about it for long time. I was assuming this was fixed by microsoft in later versions of windows. What windows are you using?
