Hello - welcome. You need to have Yuri's Revenge installed in order to play online. EA Games have not released Yuri's Revenge as Freeware. If you're on windows 7: - Toggle videobackbuffer in the settings of the client, and re-try playing alone vs AI. - Check you do not have a file called ddraw.dll in your game directory. If you do, and on win7 remove it.

Thanks for submitting this, it shouldn't effect starting positions in game, just the preview is skewed.

Can you both try separate games using CnCNet (with just an AI) to see if the problem is related to one of yours setup. Otherwise could you both provide the Operating system you use?

You're using windows 8, you will most likely need this file in your game directory where CnCNet is installed. Hello - firstly sorry for the inconvenience its causing. If giving the Settings.ini full administrator permissions is not working, as a temporary workaround not clicking "OK" when the error message comes up will not close the client. We are already aware of the issue, and It's in our tracker to be fixed on the next update.

What errors occurred? That file shouldn't interfere with the client at all.

We've found the problem and will hopefully be releasing an update to patch this soon.

What antivirus are you using? It could be blocking from downloading new files.
