The AI will be fixed in the next version.

Try running the game in Windows XP compatibility mode. As for TFD or not, it doesn't matter the games are the same anyways If compat mode doesn't solve it check if the cursors are there in [path to where you installed ZH]\Data\Cursors
-
I just updated our gallery to the newest version, this should fix some bugs that was looming in the previous version.
-
Have you tried installing the TFD 1.03 patch? I'm unsure how bootcamp works as I got very little experience with Macs. You should also make sure DirectX and the video card drivers are all up to date too.
-
This is a strange issue, your installation may have been corrupted somehow. Have you tried uninstalling Zero Hour, deleting the ZH folder (not the documents folder) and then reinstalling ZH and TDR? If this doesn't solve it then I don't know what else to do. It's strange that it doesn't work for you though, I use Windows 7 64-bit and everything works fine for me.

Saving your time, cncwarlord Except that his post is from June 4th and the latest Nvidia driver was released June 15th... Edit: I'm blind! However he didn't mention DirectX which also could be an issue.

Have you updated the drivers for your graphics card?
-
This is no problem for me at least.

Some time ago Command & Patch moved from their old home in CnC Sector to CnCNZ. Nathancnc felt this would bring the TFD 1.03 patch more exposure than the little page on CnC Sector.

You may have noticed that the site has been displaying a "forbidden" message for the last few days. This is because the C&C Communications Center has been in a state of lock down due to a hacking attempt. The only affected site was the Tiberian Dawn Redux site. I advice everyone to change their passwords just in case someone would have stolen them. Someone uploaded a malicious perl script using an exploit in the e107 CMS script that's used for the Tiberian Dawn Redux site. Fortunately the server host discovered this before anything else could happen and locked down everything. It should be back to normal now.

The site has a been a bit unstable lately, this is due to a server move I was never told about. The site seems to have stabilized now, but expect some more weirdness in the days to come.

A NAT error can be many things. It might be that your have not forwarded port 8054 UDP correctly or there is a firewall blocking it. Split from "Internal Server Errors" news post. Post in the right place next time!

For the last few hours there was a few problems with the server. These problems are not fully solved but everything is working through a workaround, I hope these problems will disappear soon. There is still problems with the chat room.

They made another one? I've only heard of Tiberian Twilight! A C&C game with no base building isn't a C&C game in my opinion. I think I brought this awkward joke a little too far....anyways welcome to the C&C fansite which has been lost in a temporal rift! (stupid Chronosphere) -

News from the C&C Community! Late May and early June edition!

This year has been a bad year for C&C. The flop that was C&C4, the resignation of long time CnC DEN webmaster Lion and EA's RTS Community Manager APOC. (Where is the new one by the way?) For many the news stream seem to have clogged, this is far from the truth as there are a lot of news circulating around with or without EA. We need news posters! The first story of the day is that C&C Comm Center is yet again in need of news posters. A news posters job is to look around for any C&C/Dune thing that may be of interest and post about it, it's not a very hard job and you are not required to post everyday or even week like certain other C&C websites. New awesome C&C: Rewire pictures! Gangster posted some new screenshots of C&C: Rewire a few weeks ago one showing off Rewire's Ares enhanced features. Here are two of the screenshots: You can see the rest here and here. Ares 0.1 has been released! The "next generation in Yuri's revenge modding" has been released! Ares, known as RockPatch 2 is a dll that integrates additional functionality into YR extending the modding possibilities of the engine while also fixing some of the bugs Westwood left behind. Ares is different from other older YR patches because 1: It isn't a modified exe file and 2: It has a fairly extensive documentation. Note that Ares 0.1 is an early version and only a taste of what's to come! Invasion Confirmed May Demo released! Invasion Confirmed is a mod that adds all factions of the Red Alert series into Generals Zero Hour in a catoonish style. The factions are: RA1 Soviets, RA1 Allies, RA1 Ants, RA2 Allies, RA2 Soviets, RA2 Yuri, RA3 Allies, RA3 Soviets and RA3 Japanese! That's all I wanted to say! This is Tore saying: "All, move to Mammoth Tank, 12 o'clock!"

There is no documentation other than the source code itself. And why would you want to create an alternate client? The current one works though it has some problems with some routers.

Who said we didn't support something? We could support StarCraft or Duke Nukem for all I know! -
I think VirtualBox is better than the free versions of VMware: http://www.virtualbox.org/ And it's very annoying to boot up an OS just to play TS...
-
I'm sorry to say that effort may be in vain, your graphics card is the problem, NOT Vista. This doesn't work with the NVIDIA GeForce 9600M.
-
I got the same video card as you (NVIDIA GeForce 9600M) and TS runs really slowly on my computer. There is nothing you can do besides trying a different PC. TS and that video card don't go together.
-
What about trying to run it normally? TS gives out that message when it first tries to start on newer systems. It's a weird bug, but TS does work on Vista and 7 perfectly, however some PC's have problems running TS properly (lag) due to how TS was made and the components inside the PC.
-
Hmm, from where did you download TS?

DOSBox 0.74 has been released! The DOS emulator most of us know and love is now in a new version. This version can tempt you with bug fixes, increased Windows 7 support and a lot of other features! So head over to their download page. Download it, install it and load Dune 2 your favorite DOS game into it!
