Unlike in TS, Blossom Trees only have the same spread rate as normal tiberium, though. In reality, adding more blossom trees in a field mostly just removes cells of tiberium you could otherwise harvest.
-
It doesn't. There's no map options whatsoever to affect things like that in TD.

Looks really nice! The jpeg blurring hurts my eyes, though

I advise you to do a search for those

There is a preview function, you know. Don't just copy stuff from other forums without double-checking tag support. On a related note, there's an edit function. You CAN just divide the whole thing in underlined section headers where your current spoiler tags are. Some other things: -it'd be nice if you'd actually say what "CTW" actually stands for -You also got a messed up Bold text closing tag behind "riots and mass crowds." -You managed to misspell Sig Sauer P226 despite the fact you just had to copy it from the Wikipedia article you linked to -It's 'god moding', not 'God Modding'. -(Norbro, you can have public executions if you really want). Yeah. I'm sure Norbro appreciates it. I'll read it through once you fix the formatting and make it readable

Sorry, had a really busy weekend (my godchild's birthday, mostly). I'll see if I can take a look at it later today.

Dude, that was pretty uncalled for. All I said was that it was missing any and all kind of introduction. Had that been there, the links would've been enough, but N3t, it's generally considered polite if such a post gives you at least some info before you need to click any links

yeah... there's overall more chances that the older games have trouble than the brand new CnCNet app
-
Peculiar. I'll take a closer look at home. I've certainly made it work before though, with All Destroyed.
-
The CnCNet client is a .net application, so I'm fairly sure there are no problems there.
-
Okay.... so what's your point?

Tiberian Dawn - The Huge Collection (single player)
Nyerguds replied to Chimas's topic in C&C Singleplayer Maps
The author might be a better choice of extra info, then. A lot of the maps have known authors. -
You could've started with a small intro saying WTF it is about. You don't even say it's about Renegade...

Tiberian Dawn - The Huge Collection (single player)
Nyerguds replied to Chimas's topic in C&C Singleplayer Maps
I don't see much use in adding the map size to the missions... for maps that may matter, but for missions, not really. -
Yeah... you can have all the 'allow win' you want, it won't matter if nothing actually MAKES you win.
-
Wouldn't that just make you win automatically?
-
I kinda stopped making missions after The Tiberium Power Plant, since I used so many tricks in it that I didn't think I'd ever be able to top that, anyway (Mobile HQs ftw.)
-
"ps:"? That's an internet protocol I'm not familiar with
-
I have always preferred making missions over making maps... and that includes the actual terrain design. Most of my missions are made on existing maps. Haven't done it in ages, though.

Why would you ever want to toggle a crash fix?
-
Good lord, how can anyone understand a single thing these guys say? That's just utter nonsense in the chat corner And, to be fair, your topic title was equally nonsensical to me. Lemme fix that for you
-
Well, thanks for identifying it

I doubt the content of TS was in any way influenced by EA... especially given the fact EA was only their publisher then. They could lean on them to get it done sooner, but they had no control over the creative side.

That's just from the install sequence. It's not just the demo; the normal DOS game has it too. It's played when the installer seems to go crazy at the end, to scare the user for a bit. Nice to know where it comes from, though. Full animation: (You have to imagine this in DOS, before the days of bringing up task managers or alt-tabbing out, of course. It all just goes crazy and seemingly locks up on you, and there's nothing you can do about it. View this in fullscreen for the best immersion ) DOS C&C installation It's kind of a pity how it smudges out in the end. The animation in the installer is pure lossless WSA, not VQA video, meaning all the text right up until the end is crystal clear as it rapidly flashes past. Side note: the filenames are mangled because Olaf forgot to add them to XCC Mixer. I recently recovered the names, though, as seen in this topic.

"plugin"? You do realize that the only way to add things to these games is by hacking it into them, right?
