  1. well, ok, it also has the Enhanced mode
  2. Because it would be too easy. When you use commandos, YOU have to take control, otherwise he's overpowered.
  3. well you never made C&C maps, have you? There are pretty tight rules to what you should use for connections and endings.

    Game on Linux !!!

Irony: The point was that people on Linux can join the chat, and then host a game. People on Windows with the cncnet tool could then join that game.
  5. Bull. All it has more is Skirmish. It's getting pretty close, but the isometric foundations still look retarded
  6. dunno, I just think the TS font doesn't fit.. at all. I'd just use the capital letters of the Kudos Black Condensed SSi Extra Bold Condensed font; the one the logo is made from... it's also used for the Covert Operations sub-title on the CO box.
  7. the launcher deletes these though...
  8. bwahaha, on this forum DTA has to compete with the real thing though
  9. I fixed it the first time I started the game. I immediately knew what it was, so I forgot about it N3trunner did that in his C&C too, to have better contrast in the recorded games.

    Game on Linux !!!

no, I asked him about it, and he was all "huh, so THAT's what that code was. No sorry, removed it." But maybe he restored it now he knows what it was? I dunno.
  11. Why the TS font though? It looks bizarre.
  12. Not a clue about any of that stuff... but I'll ask Hyper about it. Would be awesome if we can actually fix this issue.
  13. ehh.. _RA95.LCF isn't used by anything. RA95.exe is a launcher program that looks in the text file RA95.LCF to see which program it should run. The program to run is originally (in RA95.LCF) set to the Internet Components installer. the file _RA95.LCF contains the correct setting, in which it launches the RA95.DAT file (which is the real exe) As for the weird colours, yes, that's a known problem in Windows 7. I think for RA, you can probably fix it by enabling 256 colour mode in the compatibility settings.
  14. I was talking about the cliffs... though that T road is technically also cut off; that type of road goes on to the south-west, not to the south. But that doesn't really look bad imo.
  15. Well what do you want me to do? Make sure the APC doesn't automatically shoot at enemies at all, like the Commando? It's the only thing I can do with that. As for the refinery, I honestly have no idea, sorry :-\
  16. Note that it seems to react different on different systems. For some people, the res window didn't work at all in some cases.
  17. lol, so THAT was the issue? XD
  18. eh, to get around the internet components bit, just delete "RA95.LCF" and replace it by the included "_RA95.LCF".
  19. Win7 eh? I'd really make sure it's not a user rights/ownership issue first. If the game can't access some of the files because of ownership issues, it's pretty clear that this kind of stuff can happen.
  20. Tore... I can't see attachments here either apparently. Can you check that and plz fix my acount rights COMPLETELY now? -_-
  21. RA only supports 1-cell craters. This was clearly a map terrain tile.
  22. Hmm... that T in the middle still isn't correct... and neither is its left-hand end. You clearly see that end is cut off at the top.
  23. While you're at it people, vote for Tiberian Dawn in the C&C3 category
  24. ohh, he means it can't be sold when a harvester is docked in it? That's normal. The price for selling it at that point would be different, so it's simply not allowed. It is so you can't use that to sell a harvester. And as for the APC, attacking happens to be a different unit command then "letting a unit enter", so it cancels the entering command. The infantry's command isn't cancelled though, so it keeps trying.
  25. Pah, chances are at least one of em is going to be more south of you. Like everything else, visceroids go for the most northern target.
