Did you ran the game as Administrator? anyway, 00000000 to 00000000 seems to be that the game couldn't even be ran. Disable your anti-virus, and Try agan. A corrupt .EXE can also do that error, so you can try downloading it again.

As related in THIS topic, there is problems with Tiberian Sun and Laptops that runs Windows 7. It is related with the power managment feature of the Windows Version. Thanks to Xentair for find a fix to us. (excelent M$, just doing crappyness ). ----------------- 1- Open the Start Menu and click on Control Panel. 2- Change the "View by:" to Large Icons so we can find the Power Managment Menu. 3- Click on Power Options. 4- Inside the Power Options, unhide the "Hide Aditional Plans", and select High Performance. That should fix the Problem. Remember to Update your Graphic cards driver and update DirectX. As far i know, that problem only affects Windows 7. If you are running another version of Windows, or even Linux with Wine and are getting that gray lines, please let us know.

And remove the Windows 95 compatibility mode for the C&C95.exe. It define it as default in the intalation, but it is not recommended if you use cnc-ddraw.

I don't know how virtualbox handle the emulation environment (if it is like vmware or vpc), but i"m talking about virtual pc 2007, not the windows virtual pc.

Uhm, well... Download and install the Virtual PC 2007, not the Windows Virtual PC. VPC2007 as i told before emulates the entire environment, and i think that accepts Win7Home as the Host machine. Then install Windows XP on it. I think that should work. Hifi! we need DDraw for TS! Search for someone that know how to emulate those GDI+ menus! [edit] Why not use Windows Virtual PC? Because it is like VMWare, somehow it ports to the Graphic card.
