Sorry, but the Support of Windows 2000 was finished in Jully 2010. But, i've already used Windows 2K and i had no problems with it. Even for running CnCNet. If you are with troubles with Windows WSOCK32, i can upload the Windows XP WSOCK for you, just put that on C&C95 folder. Just remember, if you want to do that for Red Alert and TS, you will need HEX-Edit the game for make it run the CnCNet Wsock32.dll from another name, like wsockne.dll I've attached the Windows WSOCK32.dll [edit] You also can use nLite to tweak your Windows 2000 and XP, like, I have 3 Windows CD-ROM, 1 Original untouched, 1 Tweaked for news PCs and one Tweaked for Old pcs, like the copy i used into my Cirix 250mhz machine and my k6-2 Notebook of my father. http://www.nliteos.com/ XP_wsock32.zip

Just for everybody knows: There are a similar error in Windows 95 and 98FE... Windows won't install if you part the HD EXACTLY as 10GB, 20GB... (that's why FDISK always part the disk like 9,98gb). 98SE don't have this issue... Maybe this error was Windows from that time fault? And there still are the Memory issue if you have more than 1gb on those system (if you have 1024mb, it will read 24mb )

Usually, programs set a bunch of variables for the same thing... like my old computer Temp folder. Set TEMP=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP SET TMP=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP SET TEMPDIR=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP SET TMPDIR=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP i'll not be surprise if there are 99999999 types of Ultrasond directory.

Well... The game will give priority for the unpacket maps... you need to advert peaple from that (it is obvious, but n3ub3s...) I've did a small batch tool for clean that, it try to detect the C&C95 directory, but if it do not find it, it will need to be placed at C&C95 directory, download at my attachment. cheesemapcleaner.zip
