You can install Ubuntu wihout unnistalling any OS, just use GParted to "stole" somes gigabytes (i run ubuntu fine with 10 Gb on it, but i recommend at least, 20Gb), install a small SWAP partigion, and it is done. Ubuntu installs GRUB2, so you can boot any OS just restarting the computer and select it in the list. i've heard fedora is an good Linux distribution too, but i never tested it yet. Both linux distributions supports FATx, EXTx, NTFS and other also not so knowed filesystems

My Solution: Install Linux on it, and install & configure the SAMBA, you can google for how to do that. Another Solution: Torrent an Windows XP copy, burn it and install, but it is piracy. Tiberian Dawn - Pichorra's mappack v1.1 (1/1/2011)
pichorra replied to pichorra's topic in C&C Multiplayer Maps
Update (1/1/2011) Changelog: - Some changes on the "Glacial Montain", "Viceroid Area", "Rise of the Tiberium" and "Tiberium Wars". - Removed my "Advanced spawn System" from the "Viceroid Area", since it was sometimes crashing the game and it was not working. - Added the "Players=X" in the [basic] Section, something i shoulded implemented a long time ago. New previews of the maps will be uploaded. [edit] Done -
... If you do not tell with who you play, then we can't help you.

Try to use ArsClip to get an screenshot of the problem. Just open the program (it does not need instalation), take a screenshot, paste in paint and send to us. This tool seems to capture what you are seeing in the screen. Also, Did anyone know what resolution TS run by default? I think it is 640x400. If you open SUN.INI and edit the resolution to 640x480 or 800x600. should work. Maybe your videocard do not support "Broken Resolutions".

XCC Editor is a good map editor for multiplayer, also a crap-badly mission maker, but it seems to be more stable than CCWMAP and it do not have so crap limitations for keeping compatibiliy for DOS C&C, like the 1024 lines limitation, and other things, and, in XCC is possilbe to take screenshots and see what is outside the map. Here is my question: XCC screw up the map only because it write everything in uppercase? There's a way to fix this issue? an hotfixer or else hacking it?
