[sG]Einstein FullRA disappeared mid to late 2011 when the Iran patch (RA95.exe) became stable. I had no idea any one was still updating it or how they are updating it since than. From what I know only two people where working on the RA95.exe. (Iran and AlexB and last I knew Alex was doing RA2 over at PPM) FunkyFr3sh It may not be the mission from what I recall FullRA (and some early Iran Patch RA95.exe) would be unable to load some mission from mix files but would work fine if you put the mission in .ini form in the folder. [sG]Einstein I was sure it would fix you. Just about every one uses a Iran RA95.exe now. -

fullRA has been obsolete for some time (2011-ish). The install from redalert1.com shouldn't need any fixes but it is build for online play more than any thing, I also don't know when it was last updated. It may not support the TLF add-on. If your looking for a stable full install setup http://iran.cnc-comm.com/ra/ You get everthing plus the TLF add-on. If you want to patch Old CD or The First Decade use http://funkyfr3sh.cncnet.org/ it says includes Aftermath/Counterstrike/Online play but says nothing about TLF add-on. *can be used to install a full setup* -

The Hand of Nod is too tall. It cause clipping/bleed through. The alipaper.pcx sovpaper.pcx and radar logos are quite nice. -

The preview for SBAG, CYCL and BRIK is not being shown in the lower right corner.

If you can't it is fine. Not may make use of the Custom Missions and you can use file open with to get RAED to open them as well. Also Found a small error. SBAG CYCL and BRIK is not being shown in the lower right in Overlay mode but they can be placed on the map fine.

Looks good over all. Kind of suck that New Scenario dosen't list the new theaters but the blanks maps will work fine. I know you just started messing with RAED but if you could look into geting RAED to be able to see and open CMU##EA.in (Custom Missions). If it is something you don't want to mess with I understand as many don't use the Custom Missions options.

Not missing any thing. I only put a handfull of briefing videos that were usable with the stock RA1 missions. I did this since videos are huge file to download and I don't want to replace C&C 95 as Nyerguds has put lots of work into improving C&C 95.

Iran can do lots of cool things. There is a vary cool if unfinished RA95.exe that will let you add new units buildings and weapons. http://cnc-comm.com/community/index.php?topic=2603.0 Note none of Iran Dropbox links still work so I attach a copy of the RA95.exe in this thread http://cnc-comm.com/community/index.php?topic=2606.0 at Reply #21 but you should also grab my New_List_Type_Rules.zip in the Unhardcoded internal (type) lists thread attached in Reply #37. -
I check PortableRA and didn't see any error. Not sure what is up....

FunkyFr3sh It is SCU04EA.ini. It is not changed in PortableRA. It an exact line for line match of what I have on my Red Alert: The Dominion Pack Soviet Disk. SonicB00M I see. Make no since. What verson of RA is this? PortableRA or FunkyFr3sh's? Part of me is thinking of some kind of rules bug but with a rules bug you can still select the bugged unit/building and see the health bar. Maybe Iran can decode the saved game and find what that allied "thing" is. I'm attaching the saved game for Soviet 5. You will need to do the load the savegame, then choose the option to restart the mission to make sure it load clean. It should be easy difficulty. Soviet_5_Saved_Game.zip

Jacko Yes you could but the scores.mix is the 2nd larges mix file. (Only the Movies1.mix or Movies2.mix is larger) In the case of Red Dawn Online the add-on music scores.mix is larger than the game it self. Trying to keep the RA1s 35 tracks (Total of stock RA1, CS and AM) with TDs 35 tracks (Total of Stock TD and Covert Ops) would be impractical to add as the download size would balloon. Note: The 35 track total dose not include alternative/remix tracks that TD has that Nyerguds made the game read or any tracks that Iran added to PortableRA. -

I see you redid the in-mission pause menu. That is something I have messed with as I would need to match the menu shps to the title and in-game palette. -
Could you attach your saved game of this mission?

All that is in that area is Civ buildings that you do not need to destory/kill to win the mission. Did you destory the 2 Power Plants at the vary top right of the map?

I see. I think XCC Editor uses .xif that has all of the data on how to load and display units, buildings and well tilesets. I have a copy of XIF Editor but is come with no docs on how to use it. You can get the XIF Editor from the XCC website. Well XCC Editor seem to be just as smart as RAED than. The good thing is RAED and RA1 will let you change the footprint of any tileset.

Did that way back when I first started. Most of the time I lost the names and other times the whole mix would get corrupted and be unable to opened at all. Kind of what I thought. The terrain types is limited to 2 in Tib Dawn? Passable and Non-Passable? Also can't XCC Editor be expanded so you don't have to hex edit each map to add the new tileset? I go with "tileset" and "tile" but it seem like most call tilesets "tiles". It may have came from Westwood as in WinEd they call tilesets "tiles".

Never had good luck with making a new in MIX Editor as something seem to go wrong and I lose the file names or worse. I always do a copy and paste of stock mix for the game I'm working with.

Chimas: My understanding is no new tiles can be added to Tib Dawn. Also any changes Tschokky has made to the RA1 jungle hasn't effect the TD jungle.

Myg: Hater. weaveR: The snow in RA1 isn't just white. It uses 5 colors for the clear.

I found out much like Chimas did. Also you can drag and drop multiple files into XCC Mixer. I don't do this as for Red Dawn I have to keep many mix files "encrypted" by use of XCC Mix Editor Options or RAED will error and not load.
