  1. Tschokky : You should make your extra patches use the same name and tile size for all theaters. This will let maps be easy convertable to another theater. I think I have tested every interior tile and the only one that seem to not work after being changed is arro0003.
  2. Tschokky: The last 4 jungle.mix-es you attached where saved as Tiberium Dawn format mix files. This is causing XCC MIX Editor to not know the name of the files in the mix so it uses file ID numbers.
  3. That's rather impossible, seeing as it isn't any of these games. It's just a game that happens to use the graphics of the C&C games. Father time is undefeated and it will get C&C, RA1 and TS sooner or later. OpenRA may not be the same engine but it may be the future afther C&C, RA1 and TS are no longer playable.
  4. I don't get the ripping of OpenRA. My PC is just too old for it and what little of the coding I've seen is much too complex for my taste but it may be the future for C&C, RA1 and TS.

  6. Okay I'm attaching my extended jungle terrain set up. Right now it is kind of useless as it need a edited version of RAED to makes maps but you can see the new things on the attached map. Jungle_ORE.MIX Jungle_TIB.MIX extended_jungle_map.zip
  7. The jun-ore.mix and jun-tib.mix mix are missing the v11.
  8. Update of the C&C95 Jungle to fix the fords. It also fixes the Barn that converted baddly. Note: The Ford by the Humvee is cut off by WestWood when the map was made. Jungle_for_CC95_V2.zip
  9. Iran I would too but 3 copies of RAED to be able to use all theater is bordering on loony in my book. Nyerguds I see now but I had no way of knowing as Tschokky FORDs are cover in bushes.
  10. Iran can you update the Desert and Winter RAED to work with the jungle or change the RA95.exe to use use Theater=JUNG and Jung.mix as a quick hex edit of the Desert and Winter RAED I did will use Theater=JUNG and Jung.mix just fine.

  12. The jungle effect is not on the edge of the 2 river tilesets shown in the screen shot. Westwood overplayed them together ingame.
  13. Tschokky I was never able to get the free ParaBomb/Airstrike after destroying the SAMs to work. The player has to own a building the can make a superweapon or the game won't give you a free superweapon like the ParaBomb/Airstrike by trigger. To get a round this there is some GDI specific coding found in the Basic C&C Classic Set Up.txt Nyerguds I'm 99% sure the FORDs are the same shape in TD and RA1. I hand copy and pasted all 140 + tiles to make sure any changes would be found. Jacko As Nyerguds said. This also happens in RA1 as well.
  14. It took me all farken day but done but jungle converted to C&C95! You can see it in the below screen shot you can download it. It will replace your stock temperat.mix so make a backup copy of your stock temperat.mix! Jungle_for_CC95.zip
  15. A SC mix is just the first 2 letters in the name of a mix. SC tells the game to replace the stock files with those find in the SC mix. Back in the first Red Dawn I used many SC mixes. I used SC_Sou.mix that had sounds. SC_Voic.mix had new unit voices. SC_EVA.mix had the new ingame advicer voice. SC_Mus.mix had music.
  16. Converting to TD isn't quite easy. All of the PCXes have to be converted to TD temperat.pal. Some will have to be edited and other made as bridges in TD are not the same as RA1. The TMP2PCX and PCX2TMP are clunkers to work with.
  17. It is an error you fixed but I still using the older one however I do know if current error. jungle-tib.mix is missing CR1 and CR2.
  18. Well I put the Jungle to use with the Funpark 1st mission remake I'm working on. Also I found an small error. The CR1 has blue in the 2nd frame.

  20. Make sure the file name is using only 8 characters long not including the .ini/.mpr. RAED will only read .inis that start with SCA, SCG, SCU, *the following are multiplayer* SCM, SCMD,SCME, SCMF, SCMG, SCMI, SCMJ, SCMK, SCML and SCMM. RAED will read any .mpr as long as the file name 8 characters long not including the .mpr. RAED will NOT read any .mpr put into a mix file. You going to have to go to the Red Dawn folder *default install is C:\WESTWOOD\RedDawn 2013 * and find your map. Than change the frile name or file extension.
  21. There was never a public 1.00. The first version of RA was 1.04.
  22. Jacko Read that too. brandonvortex Map with that start with CMU and end with .ini are not read by RAED. Also maps over the standard 8x3 will cause an error. Copper One thing to remember is that the RA95.exe can only run so fast. This was seen when Funky tried to double the number of units that could be built for multiplayer games. The game would lag up even on new systems.
  23. Well hopefully the small infantry can be fixed and the Jungle added. I'm also thing about doing a few of the C&C95 Funpark/Dinosaurs misison but I know there will be problems. I know the missions have some odd bugs/logic and RA1 dosn't have need dino logic. Nyerguds should be able to tell me about the odd bugs/logic and as for the Dinos I can find 4 non-turret vehicles that I can Image= for the missions.
  24. Well R298 was the newest version I knew of. I got it from the Main MINIMUM game package.
