  6. I don't think anyone is gonna answer this seriously bro lmao. Good classical music resonates with the eternal void which we are, thats why there is silence in the music. In music of the mind however, it is subject and object, form-based. These meastro's as you call them were clearly saints, and like any saint they bring a gift into this world. I don't see why they should fight lol. Perhaps the noobs should spec the maestro's. There are even great fighters who are so 1 with life, nobody can stop them. They fight with respect and humility, effecting the world and the cheering crowd and even the world without them knowing it. Its hard to keep this ontopic man, it has nothing to do with cnc. Lol. You can always compare bits of it with gaming but lol ima start talking fucking spiritual and shit if i dont look out. I think its against the rules to talk like that eventho i always wanna derail any topic to a topic about mindcontrol, chemtrails, and us appearing as finite entity's. Just cuz i see the delusion of the mind identified state, the little me. You wanna be great like Bach or Monteverdi? Then read the spaces between these letters and listen to the silence between their notes

Lol. I find it funny. Open for deep dicussions. Also.. religions are the same as gaming. Proof me wrong, and you'll sound religious
  10. Thaha ok. I would enjoy to see proof of that. Its just that these guys are so experienced, they click so fast, they scroll so fast, have absolute control over everything so skilled, you can't top that. Giants could be seen in a way as a runaway from that skill. But if they decide to get used to giants, very quickly you won't stand a chance no more. It will be like 20 yrs vs 5 years of experience. Theres no way dude. But yeah i agree its still about the fun. But commenting this message is fun too 😛 now i feel like playing some giants and sneak some stealth stanks in lololol
  11. Nice1 Yeah Pony, ive also beat pro's on giants lol. But let them play another one with you (let him know the mods) and you'll just never win, even with all the 'rules' in giants lol. But if you do win they might enjoy it for a little bit, but will quickly retreat to westwood maps cuz of all the limitations giants has. On topic, sure. But i don't put my shoes in the same closet as my clothes. Yet they make the full picture together. I somehow have a fascination about wolverine. Its meant for mission maps, but the uselessness of it in multiplayer maps opens a dimension for modders. I guess thats all i have to say. The way the game was intended like x3m described is limited ofcourse to the makers research and creativity. Then, the people form the game. So its a good reason to listen to the pro's. And ofc look beyond ego lol
  12. @OnePostPony Play with them for a little bit bro. Its really cool. I've also only played gso and giants for the last few years, but you'll notice how watered-down those maps actually are. Spec them, ask for tips or to get coached, you will find many many great strategies are being used that you'll never find in mod maps. Or just watch some of the recent terrace videos, or the new Pressure map by Humble, just observe without any judgement. Empty your mind and watch their techniques, in spec mode you can see what theyre building by clicking their factories and by selecting their units you can see where theyre commanded to go and you will notice the max use of hotkeys: Q-ing, selling, place/repeat building.. the way the handle their infs, retreat scouts, hunt scouts, build orders, bomb incoming titans, manage 3 attacks and defence all at once. Communicating on voice chat it becomes even more interesting, sharing controll when your dead or dont need a team of units no more and let ur allie use them, expanding tricks, harvester tricks, etc etc..there are so many skills to learn.. Its a true one-of-a-kind game with skills to look forward to to learn.. or stay with gso and giants and program yourself that foundation. I know most pro's dont appreciate the avarage laggy players and or low skilled so you need a (normal) decent PC and be eager to learn. They'll give you a chance. It helps not to be cocky/ empty your mind
  13. This is a command line tool that allows you to add or subtract two INI files. This probably sounds strange, but it's really handy. When you subtract two INI files, the result is the difference between them. When you add two INI files, the result is the combination of them. Note that you can turn/ copy paste any file (map, mpr etc) into an INI file. As a map maker you easily use the same mods you've used before, so what I've done is I saved every mod that i used a lot, in a seperate INI file. So that you can use the software called XCC_INI_CLT, to easily add it in your map. Just so there is no hassle of listing the mod in its appropriate list, like every new building needs to be listed under [BuildingTypes], same for new/cloned infantry, vehicles, warheads, animations, and triggers, actions, events, tags, teamtypes and so on... Its just so much easier to use this software whenever you have an idea for a map, and even add or subtract the basic things like Auto-Ally, Free Radar, Reveal map, Giants mods etc. This trick is very do-able, even if you're a modding noob, i recommend you to still give this a shot Note: This tutorial explains an alternate way to add mods to your map, no coding/modding skill required. The reason I don't wanna tag this topic is because the software can be used for all games that have editable INI files. So if you're a mod maker you can do the same thing and make separate files for your mods, and use this software to add/subtract them. Mods i added in this topic however, are for CnCnet Tiberian Sun. Maker of XCC Utilities, Olaf van der Spek created this around 2002 i believe, and its still handy to this day. Here is the original tutorial: https://xhp.xwis.net/utilities/XCC_INI_CLT.html Original download: https://xhp.xwis.net/utilities/XCC_INI_CLT.zip HOW IT WORKS First a simple explanation how it works. If you want to add mods in your map, first copy paste the content (all the codes) of your map, into an INI file. (CTRL A= select all, CTRL+C=Copy, CTRL+V is Paste) You can use an empty INI file i included in the pack. Give it a short name. This little program needs to be in the same folder with the ini files that you like to add or subtract, so make sure the software file is in there then you need to open command prompt. You can do that with your windows search, or in Start> Programs, or to press Windows Button + R, type: CMD and press enter. Now you gotta navigate to the folder with the software and ini files in them. To do that, Type CD and follow with the folder path (just copy and paste), and press enter so for example like this: Now, like in the original tutorial, type the software name XCC_INI_CLT follow with the files you want to add. It works like this: File1 + File2 = File3, so the File 3 will be both files added up. So how i like to do it is mymap.ini + autoally.ini mymap.ini This way the mapfile will have the autoally added. So you type: XCC_INI_CLT mymap.ini + autoally.ini mymap.ini and press enter, and add all the mods you want, like this: Now just Copy the content of the INI file, back into the map file, and you got all the mods in your map I've used this first for bigger mod projects and merging art.ini and rules.ini, but i figured since there are so many mods, we can use it this way as well. I will keep adding mods to this topic, Since we have fan made mods uploaded to the cncnet client in TS, this will be a great way to add them to your map. I have not organized all the mods I have in the attached rar file, they are very messy right now. I will update and edit these files as i gather more stuff. Mod inis.rar
  14. Lol. I agree with both of you. Playing Terrace with the pro's will make you experience tibsun on its fullest, how amazing the game strategies are. It will give you a true satisfied fullness of what a game has to offer. You can't find that in many other games. Giants is fun ofcourse, like u said cuz ts is awesome. But experiencing terrace games is like no other. As a map/mod maker i honestly have to say that.
  15. I believe i remember you, didnt u always host a game in xwis? I remember seeing that name so many times.. i was under abom39 but nobody remembers that name lol. Ive been most active the last 4 years on cncnet... they did such a wonderfull job to keep it alive. You'd love it, with all the new hotkeys, functions, faster loads and crazzyyy skilled players that you can spectate as well, and you can get back into it pretty quick!
  16. Nice summary pony. U can tell you love the game 😊 They are made for the missions too. And so i guess a reason for things not being perfect. The low class units might come in handy very rarely, but theyre still fun. It might be cheaper to have buggies and wolverines waypoint guard a large area against scouters just cuz theyre faster then inf. Im happy they left alot moddable for us tho. I recommend anyone that loves the game to learn modding and then play the map. Many have done it, there are dozens of versions of popular maps that have the creators wishing changes. To me thats a big part of what makes cnc games so special. And also i have this weird thought that the game would be unsuccessful if things were perfect. Seeing room for improvement can inspire you somehow

  18. Do you guys have a bitcoin wallet? Please create one if not. Btw I made this topic a while ago, its still legit, kinda: https://forums.cncnet.org/topic/7845-make-money-between-games-andor-donate-some-to-cncnet/ Also guys, check out Amazon Reviews on facebook. They give you your money back plus bonus on your paypal after giving them 5 stars. This is also a way to get money on your paypal to donate(they got some nice stuff and its real trust me) Just saying, plz keep this ontopic btw lol.
  19. Open up your map file with notepad or any other text editor Add this somewhere in the file: [AllyBySpawnLocation1] Description=East vs West A=0,1,2,3 B=4,5,6,7 [Basic] Name=your map name - auto ally AllyBySpawnDefault=1 Make sure you copy paste the stuff under [Basic] under the [Basic] thats already in your map file. You can also download TSWaveMaker, it has an autoally function to add in your map
  20. Updated Tutorial. Hopefully this can help someone
  21. I love the apc and titan. The bigger bomb loads graphic is a must too. Tho for the rest of them, there are prettier ones in expand11 and ecache19. If one has xcc mixer you can extract them from thos mix files, give them their original names and create ur own expandxx.mix pack (for people that dont know this) Ty 9lifescatfood!

Truely one of the best special maps out there, very nice work!
  23. It does indeed make for fun gameplay!! Don't worry about these guys @9LivesCatFood they're real pro players but only few of them enjoy modding We did already upload this. See all stuff thats been uploaded to CnCnet's Tibsun in this thread: https://forums.cncnet.org/topic/8661-ts-the-new-units-and-buildings-expand11/ I'll just copy the tutorial to add this in your map right here! And you can just go ahead an play it online already the GDI radar with uplinks, so you don't need the Upgrade Center for ion canon and seeker, you can just place it on your Radar Here are the codes: [GARADR] Cost=1000 Name=GDI Radar Center Image=GACOMM Upgrades=2 [GARADR1] Cost=0 Name=Drop Pod Node Armor=wood Owner=GDI,Nod Power=0 Sight=1 Crewed=no Points=0 Explosion=TWLT070,S_BANG48,S_BRNL58,S_CLSN58,S_TUMU60 TechLevel=-1 Capturable=no AIBuildThis=no SuperWeapon=DropPodSpecial ThreatPosed=0 Prerequisite=GARADR,GATECH PowersUpToLevel=-1 PowersUpBuilding=GARADR [GARADR2] Cost=0 Name=Hunter Seeker Controller Armor=wood Owner=GDI,Nod Power=0 Sight=1 Crewed=no Points=0 Explosion=TWLT070,S_BANG48,S_BRNL58,S_CLSN58,S_TUMU60 TechLevel=1 Capturable=no AIBuildThis=no SuperWeapon=HuntSeekSpecial ThreatPosed=0 Prerequisite=GARADR,GATECH PowersUpToLevel=-1 PowersUpBuilding=GARADR [GARADR3] Cost=0 Name=Ion Cannon uplink Armor=wood Owner=GDI,Nod Power=0 Sight=1 Crewed=no Points=0 Explosion=TWLT070,S_BANG48,S_BRNL58,S_CLSN58,S_TUMU60 TechLevel=1 Capturable=no AIBuildThis=no SuperWeapon=IonCannonSpecial ThreatPosed=0 Prerequisite=GARADR,GATECH PowersUpToLevel=-1 PowersUpBuilding=GARADR [BuildingTypes] 205=GARADR1 206=GARADR2 207=GARADR3 [Animations] 967=GARADR1 968=GARADR2 969=GARADR3 As you can see, the file the radar uses with 'Image=' is called GACOMM. You can also just Copy the entire original [GARADR] from rules.ini, and change [GARADR] Into [GACOMM], and add GACOMM under [BuildingTypes]. Thats the right way to do it, but since they are very similar in art.ini, there's no need. Just copy paste this code into your map, make some edits if you want, and enjoy.
  24. NOTE: THIS IS TESTED AND ON CNCNET ONLY. SKILLS IN MAP FILE EDITING AND TRIGGER AND MODDING KNOWLEDGE IS REQUIRED. (Should work with spawn hexed, and credit trigger hexed clients like tsclient) Or skip the tutorial, and Download map template with pre-made oil derricks: oilderricks template.mpr This Tutorial and files and codes have an updated version, see my next comments INTRO I've used Lin Kuei Ominae's "Ion collector" as oilderrick in map. it seems perfect for TS's form of RA2's oil derricks It makes for very interesting gameplay in TS, so far many people online really enjoyed it. Rampastring's Spawn patch and Give Credits trigger make so much possible, and this is just a glimpse of it. It's been tested on 3 maps so far, and has potential to be added on standard maps as well, just for fun. On these test version, the Ion Collectors will give you 100 credits every 10 seconds, and some power. Its a nice bonus, and even if you can keep your collector for 50 (tibsun) seconds, after its being hijacked by someone else, you at least have your engineer money back, and had the ability to build next to it. Of course the entire building is modifiable, right now its immune, can't be sold and you only need 1 engineer to capture it. (despite multi engineer) This is a nice map i found from the mod "The Second Tiberium War", just cuz i thought it was so pretty, i added them there to test and its a pretty smooth 1v1 gameplay This map are 2 more with these are in the attachments below. Note that these still have the testing 100$ per 10 seconds, and lots of power. in This tutorial on the other hand, reduced to $85 and little power. TUTORIAL Since it takes a big load of triggers to create the oil derrick logic, i figured to make it easier on everyone else, and provided a simple way to get them in your map. It is to simply copy paste the trigger codes in your map file. And attach the triggers (in Final Sun) to the building. Use BridgeRepairHut=yes to avoid C4 ; Make sure you use Notepad's 'replace all' function (ctrl+f) And check "In selection only", AND ofcourse, if you mess something up just use CTRL+Z (undo) HOW THIS WORKS/HOW IT'S MADE If you want to make something similar, first make sure the client you use is updated with the latest hacks, so it will include being able to use Spawn locations in triggers, activating it by adding the [Houses] list in your map as listed in the code. Plus the give credits should be in the hack too. (TS-Client should have this, but have not tested this yet) To create a "give credits" trigger, you have to make sure you have the right edits in FSData.ini in the Final Sun folder. Under [Actions] number 106 should be: 106=Give Credits...,0,2,5,0,0,0,0,0,0,Give credits to a specific house.,1,0,106 Make this change and save if its not there. The triggers have been created with Final sun's, under Edit> trigger editor (with disabled beginner mode under Options), using 8 repeating triggers with events "Entered by" with spawn1 as parameter in the first triggers, spawn2 in the next, etc. all with Action "enable trigger", enabling each their own Trigger, the "give credits" loop, and also 7 disable all other houses credits loop. So the give credits loop need another 8 repeating triggers, Using event Time elapse, and action give credits. Make sure you have all the triggers options owner set to Neutral and repeating. Then you attach the "entered by spawn1" to your oil derricks, and in that same trigger's options attach the"entered by spawn2" trigger, and in that trigger attach spawn3, etc. You can download one of the maps i attached here, to check it out yourself and see how the trigger's work. So this how to create 1 single oil derrick and its logic, its alot of clicking i know, so I've used PTapioK's amazing time safer software "TSWaveMaker" To clone all the triggers use its ascending parameters to quickly clone them. But You could probably copy paste them (under lists actions, events, tags, triggers) and simply change the ID's (I use Notepad++, using holding alt and select the colomn i wanna change, then go to edit> column editor, that way you can quickly change a list of ID's) WHAT CAN GO WRONG? Using 2 different editor on the same file could delete your work. So Always make sure you Reload the file Each time you made an edit. Using a software like notepad++ will always ask you to reload it, Final sun does NOT. If this will crash its possible that the client you're using isn't up to date, for this is tested and working in CnCnet. I Made each oilderrick's trigger ID to start with "01L1", and the second "01L2", etc. so you should not have any trigger duplicates And once again, if you already have triggers, you have to cut/copy all content under [Tags],[Triggers],[Actions],[Events] or use my alternate way i used in the RAR attachment file Using triggers can always crash untested, and so its smart to test every little thing first. Or ever smarter, get a coach that knows alot about final sun. Me, Ptapiok, Humble, Skylegend, and many others don't mind helping you on on the discord sever https://discord.gg/CMMVFYk if you have any trouble what so ever. OTHER THEN ALL OF THAT, COPYING ALL CODES UNDER [Tags],[Triggers],[Actions],[Events] will most likely work (on CnCnet for sure). 5 TS Mods

Good point lol. Yes these are definitly alterations. Its definitly worth trying them out tho. Its not like 1 person made this. To my understanding each mod had an entire team from ppmforum helping on the mod. And since ts has been patched and updated, its definitly a great time now to bring some of them back to the surface, theyre just totally worth it 😁
