I think you're mixing mine with another. I haven't removed anything from the game. Ah, gotcha
-
I did change it bit by bit. All that you see wasn't done all at once. Hence why I put the "This list has been revised" at the top of the post. Also, what is so different about the mod? It plays mostly the same. I think you've only ever played with us once in it. You also don't ever get on discord anymore.

https://youtu.be/5l3ipKcnYlQ Your own mod with blackjack and hookers!

I would disagree. Yuri is definitely a faction that needs changing. Plus what about Russia?

Nah, deleting the desolator would be very uncool. The desolator is badass. It just needs to be tuned down a little bit. Meanwhile, the other sov nations need a little buff. I've actually already made a series of maps where I've made some of these balances. https://forums.cncnet.org/topic/3201-mx-mod-maps/

Funny thing is that I did those things in my mod. Except the radiation bit, but I was considering it.

Yep, what prep said. Desos are borderline op, but it's the only aoe sovs have. And sovs desperately need aoe damage.
-
I think the build timer is the primary reason for that. The transition to YR nerfed the rhino timer by 30%, but the grizz timer was nerfed 50%. The grizz builds proportionately slower than the rhino by a 20% margin. Which is a difference everyone noticed.

Nobody in that scenario. You can always host your own game. Nothing was imposed on you. I even said that in that lobby.
-
Yeah, what he said. ^ Don't let people fool you into swallowing only their playstyle. That's the most arrogant idea some players will spew. "My favorite gameplay is pro, everything else is trash."

What tournaments are best tournaments to watch?
FlyingMustache replied to MapDesigner's topic in Tournaments
Basically what prep said. 1v1 tourneys are pointless since the same players would win as usual. 2v2 and 3v3 tourneys suffer from lack of teams and no shows. I think a 1v1 tourney would be more interesting if A list players would be excluded. Kinda how pokemon balances their competition by ubers/ou/uu/nu etc. You could call it a B tourney. Only B list and below can join. Then maybe we can later also do a C list tourney. I think it would be cool. -
Well if you're looking to get a hold of some good players, check in at the YR discord. https://discord.gg/5mQzYtn

That's how I mod. Based on gameplay and what each faction needs.
-
@rishain they're just opinions. Don't let them bother you so much. Just play what you enjoy.

There's two parts to the v3 weapon. The listing above is the minimum range. In another part, it lists the maximum range as 18

Not necessarily. Fireworks is right. Allies have 4 viable nations while sovs only have 1. And in 1v1, allies usually have no choice but to.pick America due to the sheer strength of early game sovs. Let's not forget Yuri. To the original poster, this game does not have balanced factions. If you don't mind America and Iraq being the choices for top tier games 90% of the time, then no problem! Oh, and yuri is always banned. Good luck!

Even if they do they still lose. Prisms weren't meant to take on heavy armor units alone. We've tested this scenario. Maybe elite prisms vs elite apocs would be different.

Lol ok... coming from the guy that always talks about me.
-
Don't tag me in nonsense.
-
Can you blame them though? Those games are newer and get new content often from the company. Ra2 is the same as it was since 2003
-
Well that's good then. That's not what most of the trash talk is. I've seen what you do lol, you contribute to it sometimes. Other casual streamers draw more attention to new players due to their wacky and fun gameplay. The kind that most players like yourself seem to trash talk. Nobody likes their game type being trash talked, and that's the kind of mentality that deters people.
-
I think we all have our moments, but so long as we're not being needlessly toxic. This isn't about me. Is that the position you're going to hold toward newer players with potential? If so, then I think your original post has no real value if that's how you really feel. Keep losing out to Brian Vahey.
-
Real Strategy Gamer does a good job with his video series. The thing is, before you guys try to bring in new players, you really have to clean up your acts. Most people are deterred from the competitive scene due to the sheer amount of trash talk and toxicity. They'd rather subscribe to the likes of Brian Vahey or Kikematamitos.

What else is different? And how do you know it's different?
