  1. Not yet, I am trying to avoid this game as much as humanely possible. CnCNet has been bad for my health/life .
  2. Alex, if you want to understand this on a simple level rather than take all the time to decipher various wiki's and such, check this out: Link: https://www.khanacademy.org/science/physics/one-dimensional-motion Now go to the part where it says "What are acceleration vs. time graphs" Note: You can also check out the "What are velocity vs. time graphs" I'm pretty sure this will cover your questions.
  3. Cool unit, would be a nice addition to the game if both teams had a unit similar to this that could carry infantry across rivers. The one downside is that this unit is far too fast. That could be greatly abused in this game. Imagine engi rushing opponents with this thing, no1 would be able to catch it in early game.
  4. Weird guy, but offers decent games. Yeah, he's complained quite often in ffgs and even self-quit in a 3on3 once because he felt his teammates 'weren't trying,' but he still is someone that offers fun playing on cncnet .
  5. I will try to do this tonight, for some reason recording YR videos is difficult for me, but let me see what I can do
  6. Yo All, I've been having some great games on CnCNet YR lately. So I wanted to bring this topic to life, great games I've had with players: ico1 kinkys3x Sunny r33 [[[AWAR]]] supewwaw Zed Pr0 AuFRuler Of course my real life mates: oKKKKKKKK and Jeremy P.s. We (okkkk and jeremy) will be online tomorrow night for more big time 8-player FFG's.
  7. Oh, ok, so in fact this guy is just an outcast in every possible way.
  8. What do you mean? How does this relate to the post? I don't honestly think that he is 'sponsored' by any server, I think that's just more bs coming from him. It's just the way that he comes off as 'mr. cncnet who is anti-xwis," while promoting a blatant cheat.
  9. Funny, but this guy claims to be sponsored by CnCNet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxTi9Zo11D0 I have to feel that that sends a negative representation of CnCNet to people. Discuss?
  10. For those mapmakers out there, I have a map request. Can we get a large map of beach frontier, 4v4, nothing special, you can make it the way you want, but that would be pretty awesome to play on YR here.
  11. I think that's a pretty solid idea permitting the rookies/newbs understand what's going on. How would they know to approach these players? From what I see, I see a lot of very very raw players who are experiencing the game, and if we can show them how great it is to get hooked on to say, TOE, East vs. Best, Sedona games, then they will stay and be around and get better. If they just get owned in random games and yelled at, theyll probably just leave. Everytime I'm on I try to host games like this and explain to everyone whats going to happen prior to the game happening. Unfortunately, it doesn't get through too often. Example: I host EvB and explain that everyone has one oil derrick to get to help out eco. I tell them to try to defend their pinch points (bridge area, etc) and work as a team. Usually one person ends up stealing 4 of the 6 oil derricks and the games over in a few moments. Nevertheless, the true joy of the game is the 3on3 team game with sovs/allieds working together with their units to defeat the other team, so I keep trying. There's more than enough videos on YouTube, info on the web, but rookies aren't worried about that, they just want to play. So yes, we need to be there for them when they are in game and softly explain what they are doing wrong.
  12. That's what is needed most right now, it seems. Getting the newbs to understand the different teaming styles, that'll get them hooked on the game and then will have Yuri's Revenge GG paradise for a while.
  13. Yes, as Alex points out there is only 8 or 9 colors to be played. Maps would have to be designed for this, and even 8 players to a map is very limiting. 8 players on YR CncNet is pretty awesome, but if it went beyond, there would need to be many restructures (maps + more colors, Larger dimensions on the maps then what is currently possible).
  14. Heldoro, I played Double Helix . I was never very good at the game, but my brother was pretty good, his login was Ein0x or something of that nature.
  15. Aren't you hip? :puppydog: Is there a problem you have with me? If there was a clan ladder, almost every good player would be in a clan. However, it brings up a good point -- that we may all know each other anyway. Lonely world, I suppose. That...would be a rookie yes. We all start somewhere, and you portray a defeating attitude that they will all be gone within a day or two. Have some hope. Nice ad hominem. Drake was a clan I joined in 2003 on westwood online (yuri's revenge), it's been with me since then and has been one of the better clans of the games history. Currently, it has the second most hall of fames in ra2/yr history in clans. It doesn't change the fact that clanning on YR is one of the most enjoyable aspects that this game has to offer. Having a few teammates with great strategy competiting against 3 other teammates with great strategy is one of the most enticing aspects that this game offers. Clanning isn't for 'manchildren' it's an aspect of the game, perhaps the game at it's highest pinnacle. P.S.: I just checked out the entirety of your 7 post here on CnCNet. It seems every single one of them represents flame. The only one here who needs to grow up and not be a 'manchild' seems to be you.
  16. Can you describe in more detail what exactly is going on? Any error screenshots?
  17. Ignorance. Rookies on here don't even know how to ally in game, let alone join a clan. As it goes, the more known clans would obviously be more well respected. OF course, nothing stops a newb from putting [Drake] in front of their name, other than disrespect, common courtesy, and so forth. It just may be a fun nice addition. I pull this idea from games like Soldier of Fortune II and other FPS games that had this similar log in style.
  18. Hey all, I noticed while playing many games that it is difficult to tell the competent players a part from the rookies. We may need a system to make this smoother for us. What do we think about introducing an unwritten rule of 'clan' tag in front or behind nickname such as [Drake]XXxPrePxX to kind of differentiate from rookie status? Anyone else have any good ideas?
  19. . Rofl, no. When I was age 10-12 I met my first online mate known as prep468, so I mad prep357 (seemed like the right thing to do at the time), from there I liked the nickname iWiN4FaMe so I made iWiN4PreP.
  20. Greetings friends, I am a Yuri's Revenge player and active member of the community, you can call me Prep. I am happy to be playing here on CnCNet and getting some great Yuri's Revenge games. I hope we can play some time, I will be under the nickname XXxPrePxX or [Drake] XXxPrePxX, if you see me on, mention this post and we will get together.
  21. I don't have much time, to be honest, but I'd be willing to help out if there is a role that I can play.
  22. Yo Grant, Bay of Pigs East vs. Best Bridging the Gap Are some of the 3on3 team games that I'm currently enjoying on CnCnet right now. Had some awesome games here tonight. Hope to spread these great team games throughout the server so more people can enjoy them.
